[00:00:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Mindless Prattle, Ripley, Jordon and Ripley

[00:00:36] [SPEAKER_04]: What's wrong with you today?

[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a beautiful morning.

[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes it's called Saturday, other times it's called Monday.

[00:00:52] [SPEAKER_04]: It depends on what day you're actually listening.

[00:00:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Happy Saturday or Monday.

[00:00:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Those are the only two days.

[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_04]: If it's Tuesday where you live, you're wrong.

[00:01:01] [SPEAKER_04]: I come back on Monday.

[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why you even got up today.

[00:01:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Tuesday is nobody needs it Tuesday.

[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_04]: You ever get hit in the face with a shovel on Monday?

[00:01:11] [SPEAKER_04]: I saw a GIF earlier that somebody got hit in the face with a shovel.

[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_04]: But the shovel said Monday.

[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I was born on a Monday.

[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_02]: That's kind of the same thing.

[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, except instead of like you getting hit in the face with Monday,

[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_04]: it was just like life.

[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_04]: You're like whoa.

[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I'm here now.

[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. Hello.

[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_04]: I saw a picture of a library this morning and I want it.

[00:01:34] [SPEAKER_02]: What kind of library?

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_04]: It had books.

[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it a bookshelf or is it a library?

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_04]: No, it's a library.

[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not like this fake thing that we got.

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_02]: We have lots of things.

[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_04]: We have books but not most books.

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Like we have more video games than books.

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_02]: That's because when I lived with my parents,

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_02]: their water heater broke and destroyed a box of my books.

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_04]: It did not destroy a box of like a thousand books.

[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_02]: It was like a good 50 or so.

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_04]: 50, right.

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm trying to find the picture where oh there it is.

[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Look, bookshelf.

[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I want that.

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Are you going to build me one one day?

[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Are you going to save up money for one one day?

[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_02]: No, we can build it.

[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Who's this we?

[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Like we get a house and then we can get the wooden stuff and build a shelf.

[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Ah yes.

[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_04]: One wooden shelf please.

[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Why? What's on your list?

[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Wooden shelves.

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you have a list of wooden shelves?

[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_04]: No, do you?

[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I have a list of things to talk about.

[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Well that's not the same, okay.

[00:02:36] [SPEAKER_04]: It does not affect the proclivities of bookshelf.

[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_02]: The proclivities?

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Of bookshelf.

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_02]: What word was that?

[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_02]: What word were you trying to say?

[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_04]: What word do you think it was?

[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Proclivities?

[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Sure.

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so.

[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_04]: That was a long awkward silence for you to read something that you wrote.

[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know if you were going to say something.

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_04]: I've been saying all the things.

[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_04]: I think it turned you when you hit it.

[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_04]: So regardless of me turning you, you're still going to hit things.

[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Listen audience, I'm being abused.

[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_04]: How? Listen audience, I'm being abused.

[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_02]: What kind of argument is that?

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_02]: By this thing called life.

[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so I was thinking about, I keep seeing this chick on TikTok who's like,

[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_02]: let me test your morals.

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_02]: And then she asked me some really fucked up shit where I'm like,

[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_02]: why is this showing up on my page?

[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_04]: You know why it's showing up.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_02]: But so it got me thinking about like, would you rather things?

[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_02]: So I found like three, would you rather questions?

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I wanted to ask you.

[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_02]: So the first one is would you take a 70k week job offer where you get paid to sit in a pitched black room

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_02]: and do nothing for 20 hours a day?

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Was it 70 a week?

[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_02]: $70,000 a week to sit in a pitch black room every single day and do nothing for 20 hours.

[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_04]: If I do something when I get paid that day or like if I breathe a little too hard, they're like, you did something.

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Like you just have to sit in there and exist.

[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, but I can like talk to myself and stuff.

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna be quiet.

[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure you would be talking to yourself after 20 hours in the dark.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_02]: That sounds like a sensory deprivation.

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_02]: But that's what I'm saying.

[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_04]: I just have to be in there because I can sleep for like 12 of those hours.

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_02]: So I think for me it depends on if I can put a time limit on it.

[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Can I do this for like two months and then quit?

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, does it have to write to work state or like how long do I have to stay in the job to get the money per week?

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Are you getting paid yearly?

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_04]: What do you mean?

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Is it most jobs like bi-weekly or a monthly payment?

[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's like, I think I would do it for like two months but 20 hours in the dark every day.

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't want that.

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_04]: What do you do with the other four hours?

[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Like obviously during 20 hours I'm gonna be sleeping.

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_02]: The other four hours are for eating and showering and things.

[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_04]: I can't eat in there?

[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_02]: You can't do anything, you just sit in the dark for 20 hours.

[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Well then you would die from lack of sleep.

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_02]: You can sleep I'm sure.

[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh well then I'll just sleep in there.

[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_04]: It's probably like the only thing you can do.

[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, just sleep, okay.

[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Sure.

[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_04]: I saw one that was like would you want to take a job that was 500,000 a year

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_04]: but you have to maintain eye contact with a wall to watch the paint dry

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_04]: and if you look away for more than five seconds it starts docking your pay.

[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean even if you look away like once or twice it's like you still make it money.

[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Like how much they're gonna dock me.

[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_04]: It said for every second that you look away after that five seconds it'll take away ten cents I think.

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_02]: How much is the total?

[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_04]: It's 500 a year but that means like if you

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_04]: took an hour off then you'd get $400 less.

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_04]: It's like 360 I think.

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Worth it?

[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah.

[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah that's what I said, that's easy.

[00:05:56] [SPEAKER_04]: And it said you could do it up to eight, you had to do eight hours a day

[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_04]: or nine hours with like an hour lunch breakers.

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_04]: I was like bro just do eight straight hours and then even if you're like oh no I didn't make 400 today.

[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Like you're making what 360 times the...

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_04]: He did the math.

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_04]: 52 weeks, right?

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.

[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Times five means you're still making 406,000 a year even if you take an hour break every day

[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_04]: and don't look at the wall.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a pretty good deal.

[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah I'm like that's easy.

[00:06:31] I'll do it.

[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like the ones where people are like would you take a million dollars to live in a house by yourself for a year

[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_02]: and have no contact with the outside world?

[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like that sounds fucking great to me.

[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah and they're like wow to live how I currently live.

[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_04]: What was the one that someone posted like would you take 10 million to never listen to a Beyonce song again?

[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_04]: They're like wow 10 million to live how I currently live, crazy.

[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And I liked this one but I don't know what my answer would be yet so...

[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_02]: If you had to be trapped in a TV show for a year what TV show would you choose?

[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_04]: What TV show would I choose?

[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Do I get to like bring stuff back?

[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_04]: No you just you are trapped in that show for a year.

[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And then you come out and you're good to go.

[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean I feel like it'd be pretty fun to live in like Futurama because like no one really ever dies in that permanently except for like two or three characters.

[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Like odds of survival pretty high.

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a good answer.

[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_02]: So I was thinking about it and I was like I would not want to live in Grey's Anatomy.

[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Well no everyone dies every episode.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_04]: You wouldn't survive a year in there.

[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a hospital why would you want to be a year in a hospital?

[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I'd have to be a patient too because I don't know shit about being a doctor.

[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah that's what I'm saying like you never make it.

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_04]: You know what they would put you in the TV show and be like this is the hot doctor's wife and they're like okay.

[00:07:53] [SPEAKER_04]: And then the hot doctor's gonna die and they'll be like well now it's up to you to save all these lives because that would make sense in the universe.

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_04]: And they would just make you do surgery probably on your own husband.

[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_02]: There are some episodes like that.

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_04]: I can ride this show.

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm telling you.

[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know though like what other shows do I like?

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't watch a lot of just TV shows I think is the problem.

[00:08:17] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know but...

[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I hate... oh sorry there's a sound.

[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I hate that.

[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah I gotta fix that.

[00:08:23] It's the toilet.

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Why?

[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_04]: You're making that face in me.

[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.

[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I can go fix it.

[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_02]: God it's awful.

[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I hate it.

[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_04]: That's what your computer sounds like to me.

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Really?

[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Damn.

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe the new Ram will fix it.

[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Well I just don't watch a lot of TV shows like I've been watching my Lady Jane recently which is really funny, really enjoy it.

[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_02]: But I don't think I'd want to live there.

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like what other show... I don't really watch other shows like I'd rather be stuck inside a video game.

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Like if you had to be stuck inside a video game what video game would you pick?

[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I think that would be easier for me because I don't really watch a lot of TV shows.

[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_02]: For a year?

[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know it depends on what I'm doing for a year in a video game.

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Because like some video games I feel like it wouldn't be too hard to be like I'm gonna go be in Stardew Valley for a year and you know like what are you doing?

[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Fishing and farming?

[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_04]: That sounds really fun.

[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Like you get some easy video games to pick.

[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Or I would love to be in Skyrim. I know that's the obvious answer but...

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_04]: It's obvious for you.

[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Like you know because I could build a little manor and...

[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh no you get base games Skyrim. You don't get DLC Skyrim.

[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_02]: It's all included in the base game now. It was only DLC when it first came out.

[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_04]: No. You get original base games Skyrim.

[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay well then I'll have a house and rift in. I'll take the honey meat home or whatever it's called.

[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah setting up shop with the thieves huh? This lady's a thief.

[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_04]: I see her. She's thieving.

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_02]: No I definitely would be like a tavern witch or something.

[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_02]: People are always like oh I'd be the adventurer. I'd love to save the world. Like no.

[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I definitely would not.

[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I would be in the tavern serving beverages and singing.

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I might learn how to play the leader. Maybe I'll attend the barge college or something.

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah because like even if you're just walking from one city to the next, first they're long walks

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_04]: but second you know how many things on the way are just like wow and then there's giants that live nearby.

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes oh my god.

[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_04]: And you have time to run.

[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Could you imagine getting launched in the air by a fucking giant?

[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I'd have to learn some self-defense like maybe a magic would be good.

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Magic would be good.

[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Pretty cool learning how to shoot flames out of your hands yeah?

[00:10:56] Yeah.

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_04]: I'd like some other video games would be okay to be trapped in.

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_04]: A lot of the video games would have a violent.

[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Red Dead Redemption?

[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_04]: You're gonna die of disease.

[00:11:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I could be a prostitute.

[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_04]: You're gonna die of disease and fucking other diseases.

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_04]: They would.

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_02]: What do you think ancient STDs were like?

[00:11:18] Pretty cool.

[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_04]: They were like wow this lady is hurting.

[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_02]: So I had sex with that prostitute two weeks ago and now my genitals are inflamed.

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Weird huh?

[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Everyone was angry back then that's why.

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't mind Fallout but I think I'd want to be in like Fallout 4.

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Because they have a lot more resources.

[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Like Fallout New Vegas?

[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_02]: You want to be second middle of the desert?

[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Post-apocalyptic desert?

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_02]: No.

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Fallout 3 was hard as fuck.

[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Why would you choose post-apocalyptic game to be like yes I'll survive here for a year.

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Like if you don't get anything out of it other than just the experience of living in the game then no.

[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I'll choose something nice and easy and be like this was a nice year off.

[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you want an Animal Crossing for a year?

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh the fucking racist society?

[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_02]: How are they racist?

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_04]: We talked about all them players would be racist.

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_04]: They're like no, you saw those posts of people like oh no I ran the pigeon out of town because I wanted to be here.

[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think the council is racism maybe speciesism?

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_04]: No they're racist.

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_04]: They're like real like capitalists are like fuck you you're in debt and you're like I just got here and they're like yep.

[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_04]: And then they walk off.

[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay but he gives you a loan with no interest for an indefinite amount of time.

[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Like that's pretty generous.

[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_04]: And then every time you're like I can pay some of the loan they're like that's great would you like this new thing we're going to increase your loan.

[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Like what do you mean?

[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Now you get a new loan after you pay off the original loan.

[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh thank goodness.

[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_04]: They couldn't just be like hey you want stairs it cost this much and then you can save up money.

[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_04]: They're like no here's some stairs now you're in debt hopefully you don't buy anything else.

[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I wonder if they're trying to teach kids about the economy.

[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.

[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_04]: What do you keep looking at the shelves for?

[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm trying to think about games.

[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I would not want to be an assassin's creed.

[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Why?

[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Sounds terrible.

[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Why?

[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_02]: What if you got assassinated?

[00:13:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Just be an assassin what do you mean?

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to be an assassin.

[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Well then you get an assassinate look I don't know how to tell you this.

[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Can I get people in real life I don't know if I could do that.

[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Like especially not for real life.

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not real life it's a video game.

[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Well like in Skyrim.

[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_04]: And you're in Skyrim that's also a video game.

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Well like in Skyrim it would be self-defense.

[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I wouldn't go out and seek people to kill but an assassin's creed as an assassin has to go.

[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_04]: You just said you were going to go to the thieves guild.

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't say I'm going to go to the thieves guild.

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I said I was going to live in Riften.

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Which is where the thieves guild are.

[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't have to be a part of the thieves guild.

[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_04]: You are a guilty by association.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't have to be a part of the thieves guild.

[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_04]: You know that they're there and you choose to live nearby anyway.

[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_04]: That's you being guilty by association.

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Thief.

[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_02]: That's how is the whole town then guilty of association.

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_04]: If they knew about it before they moved there.

[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes.

[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_04]: If they move there and then they're like wow this place is really nice.

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_04]: And then everyone was like yeah you should move here.

[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_04]: And then they moved there and then they went what's all these thieves around there.

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Like oh yeah the thieves guild here.

[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_04]: You'd be like ah shit like then you're just caught in it.

[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_04]: You're like oh shit I'm in debt to the lord.

[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_04]: I gotta fucking work off my debt so I can move out of here.

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_02]: There's the thieves guild and the government is corrupt.

[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So the thieves are justified in this case.

[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_04]: How are the thieves justified?

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_04]: You're like I knowingly want to go live where the government's corrupt

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_04]: and there's thieves why you're making it even better for yourself.

[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_02]: But it has a really pretty home.

[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh thank goodness your blood money will pay it off then huh.

[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Or I guess I could live in solitude but it's more expensive.

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_04]: More expensive.

[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Solitude is a lot of stairs I don't know about that.

[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I just really like the Falkreath home that you build like I would prefer that one.

[00:14:40] [SPEAKER_04]: What's the one on the far west side?

[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_02]: The Markarth home?

[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_04]: With all the like the whole things built into like a cliff side.

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_04]: It's like a bunch of dwarven stairs and ruins.

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah that should be Markarth.

[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know about should but I sure.

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah it's Markarth.

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay and uh.

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_04]: That one would be.

[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_02]: That home is next to the treasury.

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_04]: That one would be terrible because there's just way too many fucking stairs.

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Like to get to the market you gotta go down like eight flights of stairs.

[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Also though like the insulation has to be awful.

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Like it's all stones so wouldn't it get.

[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Tones graded inside.

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_02]: But wouldn't it get really cold in the winter?

[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_04]: That's why you have fireplaces yes.

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_04]: You think all of humanity was just like it's freezing in here.

[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_04]: It's so in solitude.

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_02]: You know honestly what's the white run would probably be one of the best places to live

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_02]: in terms of like safety, crime.

[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_04]: White run?

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah cause it's it's it's got like um.

[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm talking about they get attacked by a dragon.

[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_04]: That's not safe.

[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_02]: That's our fault though.

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_04]: So that's not safe.

[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_04]: We brought the dragon there.

[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Still not safe.

[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_02]: But they are safer compared to the rest of the country.

[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_02]: How?

[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Because they have the gates, the big gates protecting everything.

[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_02]: They have the stocks for the dragon um and then it's just lower in crime

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_02]: like thievery and stuff like that.

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_04]: You know what town didn't have a lot of it was that very first town you go to

[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_04]: right after the dragon attack?

[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_02]: River run is that what it's called?

[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah something like that.

[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Like right down the mountain.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_04]: There's no like dramatic quest there other than like one kid who's like

[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_04]: just hanging out like there's that one that was pretty peaceful.

[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I would want to live there though it's so little.

[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean comparatively it's like half the size of white run but who cares.

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_04]: It's got some gates it's got the one main road with a bunch of stuff on it.

[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_04]: What do you really need?

[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_04]: There's an inn right in the middle.

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to live there.

[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Why not?

[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just not for me.

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah you'd rather live in dangerous places where dragons attack.

[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Well at least I have adventure.

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Adventure with your life.

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_02]: And what if you were the dragonborn?

[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Like then why are you living in a small ass town?

[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Just go kill dragons who cares.

[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_04]: You ain't going into this world that you choose with like super over magical powers

[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_04]: and you're over you can beat everybody.

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_04]: You're just going in to live there.

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Well I think it would be great.

[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_02]: And I could learn how to make food.

[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the same like survivor's paradox we talked about last week.

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Everyone thinks they're gonna survive the apocalypse because they have all this knowledge

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_04]: and skills and whatnot and you know like you have to be incredibly lucky

[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_04]: to first survive the apocalypse and then if you happen to have the knowledge

[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_04]: then you'd be good.

[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I think in Skyrim I would be okay just because I've played it so many times

[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_02]: that I know like most of what's gonna happen.

[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah but like most people will be like oh I get to go live in Skyrim cool

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_04]: I've played the story a ton of times and they're like well yeah

[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_04]: but that was as the main character and now you're just in the world as you

[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_04]: and they're like oh shit I don't know what to do and you're like yeah.

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I would definitely try to go to the Bard's college or something

[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_02]: or I could become a spy.

[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I think I'd be a good spy.

[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_04]: A spy?

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Why would you be a good spy?

[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Why do you get nervous about everything?

[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I'm just I'm kind of unassuming like nobody would look at me

[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_02]: and be like that's a spy you know.

[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Unassuming?

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_04]: You know what you look like when you try and hide things?

[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_04]: It's very assuming.

[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not a good liar that's true.

[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah they're like what are you doing here and you're like

[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_04]: well I was just stopping by and they're like

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_04]: are you stealing?

[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_04]: They're like no.

[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_04]: They'd be like wow a raster.

[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Even if I'm not stealing though I get nervous.

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_04]: That's what I was saying.

[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_04]: You could just be in there to like buy bread

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_04]: and they're like are you stealing?

[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_04]: You'd be like no I'm paying for bread

[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_04]: and they'd be like uh-huh.

[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Taker.

[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_04]: They would.

[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Or go into the shops be like do you need help running your shop?

[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I think I'd be a great merchant.

[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Have a look at my potions and ingredients.

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh boy.

[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm glad you're gonna fake a voice in Skyrim

[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_04]: and then when you get off work people

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_04]: and be like it's the shopkeep hey how you doing you black

[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm great and they'll be like oh okay.

[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the same thing as having a customer service voice.

[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_02]: But maybe somebody would let me work for them

[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_02]: in exchange for magic lessons.

[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_04]: That should be in the video game like if you run into a shopkeeper

[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_04]: NPC like after hours the voice actor just sounds tired

[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_04]: and like fed up with you and you're like oh all right my bad.

[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah I wish they would put as much effort

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_02]: into like the voice acting of RPG games.

[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_02]: RPGs as much as they do for like story based driven games.

[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely they will not do that.

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_02]: It would be great.

[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_04]: And way over their budget.

[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_04]: That shit.

[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Honestly no I feel like do you know how many video game fans

[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I think would jump at the chance to be a voice like a voice in a game

[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_02]: and like without compensation.

[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe but the amount of people doing voices is not the issue

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_04]: it's the amount of people doing voices

[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_04]: and the amount of lines that they have.

[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_04]: You have like a thousand people doing lines

[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_04]: and you got to make sure that all the lines add up

[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_04]: and you have to put time in it to make sure it syncs up

[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_04]: with the characters and it makes sense

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_04]: and it functions properly.

[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a lot more work than just display some text on a screen

[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_04]: and you click on the text and then it displays the text again

[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_04]: and then the mouth just sort of moves along

[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_04]: like it's a lot more work.

[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Whenever we kind of make our video game.

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Who's we what are you doing about it?

[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how to code.

[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_04]: That's why you said you're doing the other part.

[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_02]: So I said three questions this is the last one.

[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Alright.

[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_04]: The answer is yes.

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not a yes or no question.

[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Well I disagree.

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_02]: If you could breathe underwater where would you go?

[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_04]: What do you mean?

[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Like if you could breathe underwater you could just stay underwater

[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_02]: as long as you want.

[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Those are very different things.

[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Breathing underwater would be like cool I can swim in the ocean

[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_04]: and whatnot.

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_04]: And like can you breathe in any water?

[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Are you freshwater and salt water?

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes any water you can explore or breathe.

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_02]: It will not affect you in any way where are you going?

[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_04]: That's cool but you can still only go like so far.

[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Breathing underwater and being able to sustain like the pressure.

[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay can you not like do all the little like

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_02]: that's not the spirit of the question.

[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_04]: The spirit of the question is nobody thought it through

[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_04]: because somebody's gonna get the ability to have gills

[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_04]: and they're gonna jump in the ocean and start swimming down

[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_04]: and they're gonna die from the pressure and lack of oxygen.

[00:21:11] [SPEAKER_02]: No like nothing will affect you like you can breathe underwater

[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_02]: the pressure doesn't affect you like you could just go underwater

[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_02]: as far as you want.

[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Can I see in the dark too?

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah Jordan that's not the point where would you want to explore?

[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Well you can't go down that far there's no light

[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_04]: so you have to be able to see in the dark.

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Then yes you can see in the dark.

[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Well then I just stay on land and become Batman

[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I can see at night.

[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_04]: What the hell is good in the ocean what do I need to go down there for?

[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I would like to find Atlantis.

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_04]: That's good for you have fun down there.

[00:21:38] [SPEAKER_02]: You know it fell off into the sea nobody knows

[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_04]: supposedly about it.

[00:21:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Nobody knows about it.

[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Well because I can't remember who it was but like an ancient philosopher

[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember if it was like Plato or somebody

[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_02]: wrote about Atlantis.

[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah several people did.

[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_02]: An area it was in so I feel like it's there.

[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_04]: There's a lot of evidence saying that there was a civilization

[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_04]: that was wiped out by a great flood and it was in the area

[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_04]: of like Egypt and the Middle East and now it's gone.

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_02]: So I would think it would be so cool like

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_02]: can you imagine how much history is just like down there in the ocean?

[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay so are you get like you're gonna get a boat right

[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_04]: and you're gonna be like I think it's here

[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_04]: and then you're gonna jump off with a rock in hand

[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_04]: and just be like I'm gonna hold on to this for a while

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_04]: and see where you can get to the bottom.

[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess it depends I'd have to do some research about the area.

[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Like what are you bringing with you I feel like you should bring

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_04]: like a gun with you or something.

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Why a gun?

[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Do you know what's down in there like people get eaten.

[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_02]: By what?

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Who knows no one's been down there.

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_02]: A kraken comes out like what?

[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Nobody's seen a colossal squid you should find one.

[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_02]: People have seen colossal squids there's a picture of one.

[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_04]: No those are giant squids different.

[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_02]: But the colossal squids do exist.

[00:22:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah they found parts of them but they've never seen one alive.

[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah I think it said like you know it's hard to prove

[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_02]: the existence of a megalodon like they most likely don't exist

[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_02]: but they can prove the existence of the colossal squid

[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_02]: because they found like orcas and stuff with like tentacles

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_02]: suction cup things around them like marks all over them.

[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_02]: That's creepy as fuck man the ocean is scary.

[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah I mean you get a colossal squid that comes up

[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_04]: and you're like holy shit a kraken or you get

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_04]: was it beluga whales so you see those the mermaids?

[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_02]: The really big ones?

[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_04]: No just mermaids.

[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Hold on let me pull it up.

[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah because I was like I don't I can't picture

[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_02]: whatever you're trying to explain right now.

[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_04]: So beluga whales are thought to be the reason

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_04]: that sailors used to think mermaids exist because

[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_04]: when you look at them from below if they're

[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_04]: if they're going up for air this is what they look like.

[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_04]: And it definitely looks like some human bones inside.

[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Why are there knees like that?

[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I hate that.

[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_04]: It looks like a mermaid right?

[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_04]: You'd be like alright you could tell you like

[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_04]: if you fell in the ocean and you saw some you'd be

[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_04]: like holy shit mermaids.

[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_04]: If you haven't seen it just google beluga whale

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_04]: mermaid and look at the images.

[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah well you we should um I was thinking maybe

[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_02]: on Instagram and stuff we could start posting

[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_02]: pictures of some of the stuff we talk about

[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_02]: so people have context you know.

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah you should definitely.

[00:24:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And I did post a picture on Tiktok last

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_02]: or I did post a video on Tiktok last week so

[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_02]: You're welcome.

[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah you're welcome audience.

[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I made a tiktok.

[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Social media is so hard for me.

[00:24:25] [SPEAKER_02]: That was my three questions.

[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean I have other things to talk about but that was it.

[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay thank you for killing that.

[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Sorry you were watching what?

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm glad we learned to count to three together.

[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_04]: You're like I have one more question and then

[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_04]: we read the question you're like that was my last

[00:24:39] [SPEAKER_04]: question.

[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.

[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_00]: No no those tries.

[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_04]: I wasn't sure if I counted to one properly

[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_04]: but that was good.

[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_02]: You never know.

[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Anyway I uh I was watching like just

[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Hulu videos that I've been I just had it on

[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_04]: mostly while I've been playing video games

[00:24:58] [SPEAKER_04]: or whatever and I don't know why but I

[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_04]: started getting ads for Tinder and they

[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_04]: are the funniest fucking ads that I've seen.

[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god the new ones that they've been

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_02]: putting out?

[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god they're so funny.

[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah oh yes we watched a couple together

[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_04]: there.

[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I saw one on red at the other day too

[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_02]: and I was like hey.

[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_04]: You haven't seen them like the scripts

[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_04]: for them are so great because it's just people

[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_04]: standing next to each other and talking

[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_04]: how they would type on Tinder and then

[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_04]: a voiceover that just goes it's not every

[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_04]: day you match but you can match on

[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Tinder.

[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah it was like whatever their first

[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_02]: messages to each other were and it's

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_02]: like I just think it's cute plus it's

[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_02]: so realistic it's like instead of

[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_02]: setting up these grandiose ideas of

[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_02]: like you'll find the love of your life

[00:25:43] [SPEAKER_02]: and it's gonna be so romantic on Tinder

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_02]: and stuff it's like you done to fuck?

[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Been together 10 years like okay.

[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah one of the ads is like two

[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_04]: people standing in a field in the rain

[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_04]: and one of them goes so what's next?

[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Star signs and then

[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_04]: the other person just go like list

[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_04]: off like a bunch of star signs in a row

[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_04]: and then names an emoji

[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_04]: and the first person goes

[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_04]: it was so hot.

[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Like all that confidence of the

[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_04]: keyboard in real life it's so funny.

[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I wish I knew your birth time so I

[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_02]: could find your exact star chart.

[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Wow.

[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Anyway have you seen the

[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Because my birth certificate lists it but yours doesn't.

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm glad that you checked.

[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Anyway.

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Don't check again.

[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Have you seen the backlash

[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_04]: over the Minecraft movie

[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_04]: trailers and announcements?

[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes it is so funny to me.

[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_04]: The Jack Black memes are so great

[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_04]: where they're just like fuck it let's

[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_04]: make this movie and it's just Jack

[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Black superimposed into random

[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_04]: memes and animals and shit

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_04]: and they're like

[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_04]: because I won't post it was like we did it

[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_04]: with Sonic we can do it again with Minecraft

[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_04]: like bro he's not like at least

[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_04]: try to make him square him around.

[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what people were expecting though

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_02]: it was the live action

[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Minecraft film like it's not animated

[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_02]: and I also

[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I do get to an extent

[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_02]: like people want it to be really nice and stuff

[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_02]: but at the same time like we are no longer the target audience for these films

[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_02]: you know like they are geared towards children

[00:27:19] [SPEAKER_02]: like

[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_04]: it's not children year for the mines

[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_02]: they do children year for the mines

[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_02]: how many people like everybody loves Minecraft right

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_02]: it's like that quote from Rick and Morty where he's like

[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_02]: this game popular with autistic

[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_02]: people and Morty's like why

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_02]: he's like because I'm starting to fucking love it

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_02]: like everybody loves Minecraft you know

[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_04]: they start out with a description earlier than I was

[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_04]: I was like so you're mining wood

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_04]: to build a chest so you can put your wood inside the chest

[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_04]: he goes yeah he goes

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_04]: okay

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_04]: okay

[00:27:54] [SPEAKER_02]: it's like yeah that's about the generals

[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_04]: I love the memes of it though

[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_04]: they're so good

[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_02]: the thing I've been seeing the most about games

[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_02]: and stuff in the media

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_02]: is Power World is getting sued by Nintendo

[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_02]: but they said

[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_02]: they're gonna fight the lawsuit because I guess

[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_02]: PocketPair can afford it

[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_02]: and it said the lawsuit will probably take about 5 years

[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_02]: but I guess they've made so much money

[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_02]: from the success of Power World that it's like

[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_02]: they're like yeah we'll fight this so that other indie games

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_02]: can you know

[00:28:30] [SPEAKER_02]: not prevent themselves from doing that

[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_02]: okay which is interesting

[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't understand why

[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Nintendo and Pokemon have tried so hard

[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_02]: to keep

[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_02]: people from making games that emulate the same thing

[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_02]: because when you look at games like Harvest Moon

[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_02]: and Star to the Valley and Animal Crossing

[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_02]: they all spawn from the same kind of genre

[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_02]: they're all about the same gameplay mechanics

[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_02]: and stuff it's just a story

[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_02]: and art styles and stuff that are different

[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_02]: so why is Nintendo allowed to sue everybody

[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_02]: for using things

[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_02]: like why is Nintendo allowed to trademark

[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_02]: circular balls that you trap animals in

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_02]: you know like it doesn't make sense to me

[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_04]: well it's because they're not

[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_04]: it's not a

[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_04]: US based company

[00:29:16] [SPEAKER_04]: so if it's infringement in Japan

[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_04]: it might not be infringement here

[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_04]: so it's different laws that apply

[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_04]: cause they're both Japanese companies

[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_02]: is PocketPair a Japanese company too?

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah they're based out of Tokyo

[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_04]: they're also their statement

[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if you've read their statement about the lawsuit

[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_04]: but they currently don't know

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_04]: which patents they're being accused of infringing

[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_04]: like the lawsuit was filed but they haven't been told

[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_04]: which patents they've been infringing upon

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_04]: so they're just...

[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_04]: they will eventually

[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_04]: but right now their lawyers are just like

[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_04]: I guess we'll look into it again

[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_04]: and make sure that we're still not infringing on things

[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_04]: but we don't believe we are

[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_02]: some people were saying that like Nintendo has

[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_02]: trademarked the round ball shape

[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_02]: of the Pokeball that

[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_04]: changed it to a cube

[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah that's what I've seen some people were like we're about to get pow cubes

[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah you're pow diamonds

[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_04]: or somebody on Reddit

[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't have their username available cause it was earlier

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_02]: we're not just scrolling but

[00:30:09] [SPEAKER_02]: someone on Reddit on the post was like

[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_02]: we should have pow guns where you could capture

[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_02]: them with like a gun net

[00:30:15] [SPEAKER_02]: or something and then you can also shoot them out with a gun

[00:30:17] [SPEAKER_02]: and I was like that's actually a really cool

[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_02]: unique idea it would flow with the game

[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_04]: I think it should be pyramids

[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_04]: why? just for

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_04]: the sayings of it

[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_04]: it would look good right? like what's this? that's a mega pow pyramid

[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_02]: sounds cool yeah

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_04]: see you're like what the hell

[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_04]: pyramid

[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_04]: or prism could be prisms

[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_04]: it's close to prison so it's fun

[00:30:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I have a pow rhombus

[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_04]: no let's start with a pee

[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_02]: shut up

[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_02]: is it a pow penis?

[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I have some things about PS5 I want to talk about because

[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_02]: one did you see that they were doing the

[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_02]: PS5 pro

[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_02]: for $700 price rate

[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_04]: I thought it was 8

[00:31:01] [SPEAKER_02]: apparently they lowered it

[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_02]: but I just don't

[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_02]: it doesn't seem like a worthy upgrade but also

[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I feel

[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_02]: PS5 has been kind of slacking

[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_04]: some of the backlash like a lot of it that I saw was

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_04]: we don't need slightly better graphics

[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_04]: and slightly faster

[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_04]: we need more games to play on the already good

[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_04]: graphics like the software

[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_04]: and the hardware in the PS5

[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_04]: is really good

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_04]: there's just not a ton of games

[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I think we have like 3 or 4 for them

[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah we have

[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_04]: well we have some that are PS4 games

[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_04]: a couple of PS4 and then like

[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_04]: 4 games that are PS5

[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_04]: and then some exclusives that I

[00:31:41] [SPEAKER_04]: downloaded but other than

[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_04]: like God of War

[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_04]: and um

[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_02]: The Last of Us

[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_04]: and what was the other one that we were horizon

[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_04]: those are the only three where I'm like cool they're like exclusive

[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_04]: we already have them on here I'll play them on here

[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_04]: but everything else it's either already on PC

[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_04]: or I can get it on Xbox with games pass

[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_04]: like there's nothing

[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_04]: like super exclusive that would be like

[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_04]: oh yeah the PS5 is my main console

[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah

[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_04]: so another $200

[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_04]: for a PS5 pro that

[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_04]: has better graphics

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_04]: or better processor and slightly better

[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_04]: this and that I'm like I've never had an issue with the processor

[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_04]: or the graphics

[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I think this is an issue with every

[00:32:21] [SPEAKER_02]: generation of PlayStation

[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_02]: is like when the PlayStation 4 first came out

[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I got it a little while

[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_02]: after and there were like

[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_02]: four or five games in the store

[00:32:31] [SPEAKER_02]: that's how I discovered Warframe actually

[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_02]: because it was one of the only games

[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_02]: available on PlayStation 4

[00:32:36] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah that's part of the other issue too

[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_04]: was going from PS3 to

[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_04]: PS4 they didn't

[00:32:42] [SPEAKER_04]: plan on bringing a lot of the PS3 games

[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_04]: over to PS4 and then PS4

[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_04]: to 5 they like learned their lesson

[00:32:49] [SPEAKER_04]: they're like oh yeah well you just have to download

[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_04]: like a patch to get your PS4 games

[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_04]: to work on PS5 but it was up to

[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_04]: the developers of those games to make the patches

[00:32:57] [SPEAKER_04]: to make it compatible with the 5

[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_04]: so even less

[00:33:00] [SPEAKER_04]: games got transferred over and you're like between

[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_04]: 3 to 5 you lost so many games

[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_04]: and so many like bases

[00:33:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean that's why I think Microsoft

[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_02]: is really killing it with Xbox because

[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_02]: there are so many

[00:33:12] [SPEAKER_02]: choices of games to play on Xbox

[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_02]: like obviously we have the ultimate games

[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_02]: but it's like we can play on our PC

[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_02]: we can play on the actual Xbox

[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_02]: they have like an app thing where you can connect

[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_02]: remotely some for certain games

[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_02]: and there is just so much content

[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_04]: like and they did

[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_04]: they have a smart system of it too

[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_04]: is like yes there are a lot of free games

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_04]: on games pass that have just

[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_04]: stayed free

[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_04]: and stayed on there for a while but some of the ones

[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_04]: that are like some of the like mid

[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_04]: popularity ones are like the

[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_04]: higher tier ranges

[00:33:44] [SPEAKER_04]: of games if you buy it

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_04]: on games pass like with through games

[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_04]: pass you get like 20% off

[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_04]: automatically and then when it

[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_04]: if it ever comes off of games pass you just have it

[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_04]: at that discounted price already

[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_04]: so even if you're like oh this game is great

[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_04]: but it's leaving in like a week because it'll give

[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_04]: you that notice okay it's leaving games pass

[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_04]: next week you be like oh well I can buy

[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_04]: it for 20 bucks instead of 40 you know

[00:34:06] [SPEAKER_04]: and you're like okay they don't buy it for 20 bucks

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_04]: or like even um like they're making money on it

[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_02]: like on Xbox I ended up getting

[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_02]: the new or getting Resident Evil 4

[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_02]: 5 and 3 4

[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_02]: 5 on Xbox because it stopped working on Steam

[00:34:20] [SPEAKER_02]: and then I went

[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_02]: and checked the price for all three of them

[00:34:23] [SPEAKER_02]: and it was like

[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_02]: $30 cheaper than if you went

[00:34:27] [SPEAKER_02]: and got just a game by itself you know

[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_02]: but

[00:34:32] [SPEAKER_02]: apparently a Silent Hill 2 remake

[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_02]: is coming out and it's going to be a PS5

[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_02]: exclusive which is where

[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I started thinking about like the exclusivity thing

[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I was like hmm

[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_02]: so

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I haven't played in this Silent Hill

[00:34:47] [SPEAKER_02]: but I would really like to play the remake

[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_02]: because the graphics on them are kind of

[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_04]: I saw a

[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_04]: teaser of the

[00:34:54] [SPEAKER_04]: graphics in it and the new one it looks good

[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_04]: I've never played on any of them

[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_04]: so I don't know

[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_02]: but I do I want to be streaming a lot more

[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just waiting for the RAM to come in

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_02]: so I can actually play games and stream at the same time

[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_02]: because it's getting a little hard on my computer

[00:35:08] [SPEAKER_02]: but I really wanted to do like

[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_02]: a Halloween

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_02]: or like fall. So did you get two more

[00:35:14] [SPEAKER_04]: 8's that will just go on with those?

[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_02]: No I'm replacing them because it's

[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_02]: the

[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_02]: RAM itself it came in a 4-pack

[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_02]: but it's faster than the ones that I have now

[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah I just didn't know if you got

[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_04]: two more of those or if you just got

[00:35:28] [SPEAKER_04]: four in total. No, four different ones

[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I have better performance so I'm very

[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_02]: excited

[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_02]: and I told Jordan I was like do you mind if I buy it

[00:35:36] [SPEAKER_02]: and he was like you decide

[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_02]: and I

[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_04]: you're an adult

[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_02]: but there were like 10 left when I

[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_02]: talked to him about it and as soon as I

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_04]: where did you buy it through? Amazon. Yeah that's not

[00:35:47] [SPEAKER_04]: ever like true they put

[00:35:49] [SPEAKER_04]: those things on there to make you buy them

[00:35:50] [SPEAKER_04]: really? Yes, they're hardly ever true

[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_04]: that those are actual countdowns

[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_00]: They just said it was like a popular item

[00:35:56] [SPEAKER_00]: and then I went back on and it said there was only he

[00:35:58] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the fucking rat pack mentality if you leave

[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_04]: a page and come back it'll say less now

[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_04]: sometimes it's true but very seldom

[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_04]: it is like a lot of the timers on

[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_04]: there too unless it's like an official

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_04]: like hey prime day ends in 12

[00:36:10] [SPEAKER_04]: hours and it's noon and you're like oh that

[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_04]: makes sense but like

[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_04]: a lot of the deal like if you go in there like this deal

[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_04]: is only available for 15 minutes and you're like okay

[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_04]: well if you

[00:36:20] [SPEAKER_04]: it says 15 minutes and it's counting down

[00:36:22] [SPEAKER_04]: if you leave that page and delete your

[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_04]: cookies and go back to that page it'll restart and say

[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_04]: deal only available for 15 minutes like it just

[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_04]: facts your thing because it's the

[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_04]: it's the rat pack mentality

[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_04]: it's like oh this thing is going away and I want it

[00:36:36] [SPEAKER_04]: so I need to get it right now that's what

[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_04]: they do

[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I haven't paid off by like my next paycheck

[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I just um but I also don't pay interest

[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_02]: so it doesn't matter

[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I just

[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm really excited for the RAM

[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_02]: and okay so

[00:36:51] [SPEAKER_02]: most of how do I have to talk about is video games this week

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_02]: did you see

[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Human Fall Flat loved a fan

[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_02]: made VR version of the game so much

[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_02]: that they bought it from them

[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_04]: that's good

[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know the developer

[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_02]: is of Human Fall Flat great game if you haven't played it

[00:37:07] [SPEAKER_02]: me and Jordan used to play it with each other

[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_02]: it's great for long distance or if you just want to play with friends

[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_02]: like

[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_02]: like it was really fun getting to play with you

[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah it's only great for long distance now

[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_04]: that I can see you you don't want to be near me

[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_04]: we should play again I might go bam

[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_02]: no okay no literally

[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_02]: though like he would get so mad at me in that game

[00:37:25] [SPEAKER_02]: because I'm not coordinated and it's really

[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_02]: like you're a jiggly person so

[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_04]: it's not a hard game

[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm highly recommended though

[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm like are you pushing the trigger

[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_04]: and you're like yeah it's on the remote right

[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_04]: and I'm like I swear to you

[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_04]: use it

[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_04]: what are you doing

[00:37:42] [SPEAKER_02]: but I think that's really cool

[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I do think that something more developers need to do

[00:37:47] [SPEAKER_02]: sometimes they'll just like

[00:37:48] [SPEAKER_02]: take assets from fans for free

[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_02]: no if you like something your fan has done so much

[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_02]: you should either hire them or you should pay them

[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_02]: for that property because

[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean that's only going to make your reputation better

[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_02]: and maybe you're inspiring the next generation of

[00:38:02] [SPEAKER_02]: game devs

[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_04]: I forgot what game it was

[00:38:05] [SPEAKER_04]: but some game company

[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_04]: posted on Twitter

[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_04]: like a gift of a cat

[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_04]: like typing on a keyboard

[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_04]: or like where else I had or something

[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_04]: and like a bunch of fans responded

[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_04]: to it and one of them in particular

[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_04]: was just like I hope these

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_04]: these fun little distractions don't get

[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_04]: in the way of this game development

[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_04]: and so the main account

[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_04]: replied to him and goes

[00:38:28] [SPEAKER_04]: I can assure you that tweeting a picture of a cat

[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_04]: from the social media department

[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_04]: has no impact on the development cycle

[00:38:35] [SPEAKER_04]: in the developers department

[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_02]: the social media intern

[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_02]: looking at that like what the fuck are you talking about

[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_04]: do you think it's the same person

[00:38:43] [SPEAKER_04]: that's tweeting that's actually

[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_04]: programming the game like what are you doing

[00:38:48] [SPEAKER_04]: some people just don't think they're like oh

[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_04]: instead of just being like oh that's a cute cat

[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_04]: they're just like well why are they doing this

[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_04]: they should be posting this already I'm upset it's not out

[00:38:56] [SPEAKER_04]: and you're like okay man you think the cat

[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_04]: gif is what delayed it you think there were

[00:39:00] [SPEAKER_04]: developers going you know what we should make today

[00:39:02] [SPEAKER_04]: the cat gif instead of the game

[00:39:03] [SPEAKER_02]: they should go without saying but like don't send

[00:39:06] [SPEAKER_02]: developers death threats because

[00:39:08] [SPEAKER_02]: the game you want to play isn't ready yet

[00:39:11] [SPEAKER_02]: like

[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_02]: god do you remember the controversy around cyberpunk

[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_02]: like when they delayed it oh my god

[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_02]: people were like

[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_04]: it's a little bit for like three years and then it still came out

[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_04]: oh shity and I was like alright

[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_02]: it's much better now they're making an animated show

[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_02]: based on cyberpunk

[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah they already made one oh well

[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_04]: it's been on Netflix a while now

[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_02]: oh I got rid of Netflix

[00:39:32] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah it's been on Netflix a while

[00:39:34] [SPEAKER_04]: but yeah they supposedly

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_04]: the game is a lot better now

[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_04]: but when it first came out

[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_04]: you could barely play it on like a

[00:39:42] [SPEAKER_04]: decent PC you couldn't

[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_04]: really play it at all on Xbox like I got it

[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_04]: on Xbox

[00:39:48] [SPEAKER_04]: it was it was bad to play it on there

[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_04]: like the controls were bad

[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_04]: everything was just super slow

[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_02]: you said once the update came out that it got better though

[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah the first update

[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_04]: the first like major update was like a month

[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_04]: after yeah I remember you stopped playing it until it updated

[00:40:02] [SPEAKER_02]: and I was like damn that's bad

[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_04]: since then they've been getting a lot better

[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_02]: so my god I really like CD Projekt Red

[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_02]: I loved playing the Witcher

[00:40:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I played the first one and the third one

[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_02]: but I don't know cyberpunk just doesn't

[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_02]: it seems like the kind of game I would like

[00:40:16] [SPEAKER_02]: but it just doesn't appeal to me for some reason

[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_04]: you should try it out there's a lot of fun stuff

[00:40:20] [SPEAKER_04]: there's cool storylines

[00:40:21] [SPEAKER_02]: do you have an actual CD of it

[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah it's that one

[00:40:25] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah maybe I'll try it I have a huge backlog

[00:40:28] [SPEAKER_02]: of games

[00:40:28] [SPEAKER_02]: oh yeah we all do

[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_02]: and then how long would you say

[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_02]: GameStop has left in its life cycle

[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_04]: GameStop? I mean depends on the

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_04]: people just like fuck I'm gonna hold their stock price

[00:40:41] [SPEAKER_02]: their

[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_02]: cells are down 45%

[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_02]: and I think it said they've closed about

[00:40:46] [SPEAKER_02]: 50% of their stores

[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_04]: oh yeah they've been closing stores for a while

[00:40:49] [SPEAKER_02]: so I'm like I wonder how long it's gonna last

[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_02]: where are we just gonna have to rely on

[00:40:53] [SPEAKER_02]: online retailers for games or

[00:40:55] [SPEAKER_04]: it's because their model wasn't

[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_04]: it's just one sustainable especially with

[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_04]: their buybacks and they're like oh it's used

[00:41:01] [SPEAKER_04]: here's like five bucks some people are like

[00:41:03] [SPEAKER_04]: I could just sell it on eBay for way more than that

[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_04]: you can sell it on eBay for 30 out of

[00:41:08] [SPEAKER_04]: 60 bucks instead of 5 out of 60

[00:41:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I did see people got brand new games

[00:41:11] [SPEAKER_02]: and didn't like it went to go like trade

[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_02]: it back in and they're like oh here's $10

[00:41:15] [SPEAKER_02]: and it's like this game I literally

[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_02]: bought this for $75 and it's brand new

[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_04]: somebody will give you my price. I put it in, played it for an hour

[00:41:21] [SPEAKER_04]: took it back out and put this back

[00:41:23] [SPEAKER_04]: in there and they're like what do you... I mean I don't know

[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_02]: how it is here but when we were in Nevada

[00:41:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I remember going to GameStop to trade a bunch of games

[00:41:29] [SPEAKER_02]: and because I got rid of my PS3

[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_04]: or whatever. Yeah but the other part

[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_04]: too is a lot of people now are keeping

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_04]: games instead of trading them in like even

[00:41:37] [SPEAKER_04]: if they don't like games a lot of people are like yeah

[00:41:39] [SPEAKER_04]: well collect it and just keep them. Yeah.

[00:41:40] [SPEAKER_04]: You know because like the old like Atari

[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_04]: games like the old Nintendo games

[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_04]: cartridges they're worth a lot of money

[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_04]: if they're kept in good condition so people are like

[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_04]: you know I have this game I'm not going to play it

[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_04]: but keep it in good condition and one day

[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_04]: it might be worth something or just to collect it.

[00:41:56] [SPEAKER_02]: But like in Nevada they couldn't give

[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_02]: you like money for your games

[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_02]: they had to give you like store credit

[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_02]: because of the gambling laws

[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_02]: and then

[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I wish I'd kept them I have

[00:42:07] [SPEAKER_02]: I still have my Game Boy copy

[00:42:08] [SPEAKER_02]: of Pokemon Emerald but I don't really

[00:42:10] [SPEAKER_02]: have a lot of older games. I do have my

[00:42:13] [SPEAKER_02]: PSP. Apparently those bitches

[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_02]: cost a lot of money now but I still

[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_02]: like the games like I still let the

[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Scooby-Doo game I have on there

[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_02]: you know like investigating crimes

[00:42:22] [SPEAKER_02]: and stuff you know. Yeah

[00:42:24] [SPEAKER_04]: I have my old Game Boy

[00:42:26] [SPEAKER_04]: and my old DS somewhere

[00:42:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah I have the 3DS

[00:42:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I have the DS

[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_02]: the Ann Burnick game emulator

[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_02]: now. Love playing Pokemon on that.

[00:42:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Obviously we have all the consoles and stuff

[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I know I talked about it last

[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_02]: weeks or so but I'm really excited

[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_02]: for the new My Sims games coming to Switch

[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_02]: it's coming out in November so I'll probably ask for it

[00:42:52] [SPEAKER_02]: for Christmas but oh my god

[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I really want to play it. Why?

[00:42:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Because My Sims Kingdom

[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_02]: it like a little TV Sims

[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_02]: but it's like

[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_02]: castles and stuff and it's on the

[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Switch like a ticket with me places

[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_02]: it'd be so fun

[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_03]: because I'm

[00:43:10] [SPEAKER_02]: kind of disappointed with the news from EA

[00:43:12] [SPEAKER_02]: recently about how they're not going to have like a traditional

[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Sims 5. They're just going to have

[00:43:16] [SPEAKER_02]: concurrent things that run alongside

[00:43:18] [SPEAKER_02]: the Sims 4

[00:43:20] [SPEAKER_02]: which one of them was Project Grenade which is

[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_02]: their code name for the online

[00:43:24] [SPEAKER_02]: multiplayer Sims

[00:43:26] [SPEAKER_02]: so that could be fun

[00:43:28] [SPEAKER_02]: so long as it's not required you know

[00:43:30] [SPEAKER_02]: like if it's a choice and I don't have to do

[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_02]: it to play the game that's fine but

[00:43:34] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know it's not surprising

[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_04]: more and more companies are going towards

[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_04]: hey we're not going to put out new games

[00:43:40] [SPEAKER_04]: we're going to give you micro transactions or DLCs

[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_04]: because they're faster to work on

[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_04]: and people will still buy them

[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_04]: like Rockstar has

[00:43:49] [SPEAKER_04]: they're making GTA 6

[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_04]: but they're not in a hurry to put it out

[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_04]: GTA 5 is net them over like

[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_04]: $8 billion since it's

[00:43:56] [SPEAKER_04]: released. It's one of the highest grossing

[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_02]: videos of all time. Someone at EA said

[00:44:00] [SPEAKER_02]: part of their logic is that

[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_02]: a lot of fans have bought all these

[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_02]: packs and gameplay things

[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_02]: same thing as GTA and

[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_02]: those fans don't want to start over

[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_02]: and I'm like

[00:44:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I can still play the Sims 4 and get invested

[00:44:14] [SPEAKER_02]: in the Sims 5 but maybe

[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_02]: if you didn't post as many

[00:44:17] [SPEAKER_02]: pay to play things. Because the Sims 4

[00:44:20] [SPEAKER_02]: has a ridiculous amount of packs especially if we compare it

[00:44:22] [SPEAKER_02]: to the Sims 3 and 2 which had

[00:44:24] [SPEAKER_04]: 10-15 packs. The Sims 4 was put out

[00:44:26] [SPEAKER_04]: in the air of hey we can bill you for

[00:44:28] [SPEAKER_04]: all these small packs. You know I actually

[00:44:29] [SPEAKER_02]: need to look it up and see how many packs

[00:44:32] [SPEAKER_04]: are there. The full price of all the packs is like

[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_04]: $1400 or something

[00:44:37] [SPEAKER_04]: you get every person buying a pack

[00:44:40] [SPEAKER_04]: or two of things.

[00:44:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay so

[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_02]: the game has 16

[00:44:46] [SPEAKER_02]: expansion packs, 12

[00:44:48] [SPEAKER_02]: game packs and then

[00:44:50] [SPEAKER_02]: 8-10

[00:44:53] [SPEAKER_02]: stuff packs and

[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_02]: kits which this was

[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_02]: updated in July 25th

[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_02]: so yeah.

[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And then I went online the other day and I was looking at it

[00:45:01] [SPEAKER_02]: and I had to tell myself not to buy it

[00:45:03] [SPEAKER_02]: but they even added more packs

[00:45:05] [SPEAKER_02]: and one was like a fantasy

[00:45:07] [SPEAKER_02]: nursery set and I was like you don't need it

[00:45:09] [SPEAKER_02]: you don't need to play with the kids in the Sims that much

[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_02]: boy

[00:45:16] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a ridiculous thing to me to be like

[00:45:18] [SPEAKER_04]: oh it's not even

[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_04]: it's not new stories, it's not new

[00:45:21] [SPEAKER_04]: like playability

[00:45:24] [SPEAKER_04]: it's just like would you like to design it

[00:45:25] [SPEAKER_04]: with now a new bed

[00:45:27] [SPEAKER_04]: here's $20 thank you

[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_02]: and I don't buy a lot of just the

[00:45:31] [SPEAKER_02]: furniture packs because

[00:45:33] [SPEAKER_02]: for example

[00:45:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I have some game packs that are like the expansion

[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_02]: packs and I'll look at the plants

[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_02]: in them and it'll be just a reshade

[00:45:41] [SPEAKER_02]: of a plant from the base game

[00:45:43] [SPEAKER_02]: and so that's why most people just use

[00:45:44] [SPEAKER_02]: custom content and mod it

[00:45:47] [SPEAKER_02]: cause it's really not worth it.

[00:45:48] [SPEAKER_04]: No that's what I'm saying, I played the base game

[00:45:51] [SPEAKER_04]: for like a few hours and I'm like

[00:45:53] [SPEAKER_04]: the

[00:45:54] [SPEAKER_04]: I got used to the controls

[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_04]: I got that part, the menus were just

[00:45:58] [SPEAKER_04]: not great

[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_04]: intuitive to start out with

[00:46:01] [SPEAKER_04]: but then at the same time

[00:46:04] [SPEAKER_04]: the mechanics in the game

[00:46:05] [SPEAKER_04]: weren't great like a lot of things didn't work together

[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_04]: some stuff was wrong I'm like this is the base game

[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_04]: for a game that's been here for like

[00:46:11] [SPEAKER_04]: over a decade and you're like

[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_04]: and it's this shitty why would I buy

[00:46:16] [SPEAKER_02]: they just had to tend your anniversary

[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_02]: or something more actually

[00:46:18] [SPEAKER_04]: why would I buy DLC for this third main game

[00:46:21] [SPEAKER_04]: shit like

[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_02]: but I don't know

[00:46:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just feeling kind of disappointed with EA

[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess and we all know that like it's

[00:46:29] [SPEAKER_04]: EA but it's been disappointed for a while with EA

[00:46:31] [SPEAKER_02]: but it just keeps going downhill

[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Bumblebee stamp

[00:46:37] [SPEAKER_02]: what

[00:46:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know I had to clean them

[00:46:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought they just came out

[00:46:49] [SPEAKER_04]: we all think we're gonna come out but

[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_04]: look at making

[00:46:57] [SPEAKER_04]: ice cubes

[00:46:58] [SPEAKER_02]: okay

[00:46:59] [SPEAKER_04]: what

[00:47:01] [SPEAKER_04]: no it's not and

[00:47:03] [SPEAKER_04]: here's the reason

[00:47:05] [SPEAKER_04]: you get some of these that are actually clean

[00:47:07] [SPEAKER_04]: and you have a clean

[00:47:09] [SPEAKER_04]: ice cube if you set it on top

[00:47:11] [SPEAKER_04]: it conducts heat pretty well

[00:47:13] [SPEAKER_04]: like the brass conducts heat so you can set it

[00:47:15] [SPEAKER_04]: on top of an ice cube and it'll stamp the ice cube

[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_04]: with this but you want

[00:47:19] [SPEAKER_02]: ice cubes that look like bees

[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_04]: yes this is the only one you have

[00:47:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I do have a bunch of other

[00:47:28] [SPEAKER_04]: no really that's good to hear

[00:47:30] [SPEAKER_02]: shut up oh my god

[00:47:36] [SPEAKER_02]: well this has been my most

[00:47:37] [SPEAKER_04]: prattle I went to H.E.B the other day

[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_04]: what's wrong with you

[00:47:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I thought we're done you think wrong

[00:47:43] [SPEAKER_04]: all the time

[00:47:45] [SPEAKER_04]: we're in the real world now

[00:47:47] [SPEAKER_02]: you went to H.E.B the other day as one does

[00:47:50] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah and I want to point out

[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_04]: a stark difference between you and I

[00:47:53] [SPEAKER_04]: mm-hmm you were making dinner

[00:47:56] [SPEAKER_04]: and you realized you needed

[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_04]: a carrot

[00:48:00] [SPEAKER_04]: one carrot

[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_02]: one singular carrot

[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_04]: and instead of driving

[00:48:06] [SPEAKER_04]: two minutes down the road

[00:48:08] [SPEAKER_02]: it's like seven minutes

[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_04]: instead of driving two minutes down the road

[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_04]: to get a carrot and two minutes back

[00:48:15] [SPEAKER_04]: you text me

[00:48:17] [SPEAKER_04]: and said hey

[00:48:18] [SPEAKER_04]: pick up a carrot on your way home

[00:48:20] [SPEAKER_02]: bitch I didn't say it like that

[00:48:22] [SPEAKER_04]: I went you need one carrot

[00:48:24] [SPEAKER_04]: you went yeah and I went well I have to

[00:48:26] [SPEAKER_04]: come home and change first before I can go to the

[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_04]: store and you went okay

[00:48:31] [SPEAKER_04]: and

[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_04]: I thought that meant you were gonna go

[00:48:34] [SPEAKER_04]: get a carrot and then come back

[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_04]: so I showed up at the house

[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_04]: like 45 minutes later

[00:48:41] [SPEAKER_04]: and I start changing

[00:48:43] [SPEAKER_04]: and getting ready to shower

[00:48:44] [SPEAKER_04]: and you go so we're going to get the carrot now

[00:48:48] [SPEAKER_04]: what

[00:48:48] [SPEAKER_04]: I told you I don't want to go

[00:48:50] [SPEAKER_04]: I told you I've been working all day

[00:48:52] [SPEAKER_04]: what since does that make go to the store

[00:48:54] [SPEAKER_04]: lazy

[00:48:56] [SPEAKER_04]: so

[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_04]: I was like I'm not going to store for just a carrot

[00:49:00] [SPEAKER_04]: so I started looking on

[00:49:03] [SPEAKER_04]: ads and stuff to find

[00:49:04] [SPEAKER_04]: things I wanted I finally did I just got some energy

[00:49:06] [SPEAKER_04]: they're on sale but

[00:49:07] [SPEAKER_04]: not for me though enough of you

[00:49:10] [SPEAKER_04]: you got a carrot

[00:49:12] [SPEAKER_04]: so we went and came back

[00:49:15] [SPEAKER_04]: then I showered

[00:49:16] [SPEAKER_04]: and then we had food

[00:49:18] [SPEAKER_04]: all was fine

[00:49:20] [SPEAKER_04]: then

[00:49:21] [SPEAKER_04]: the next day

[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I was home before you

[00:49:25] [SPEAKER_04]: and I was making some dinner and I went

[00:49:27] [SPEAKER_04]: oh I need sour cream and you know

[00:49:28] [SPEAKER_04]: the difference I didn't wait

[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_04]: an hour for you to get

[00:49:33] [SPEAKER_04]: home I just drove down there

[00:49:35] [SPEAKER_04]: grabbed some sour cream

[00:49:37] [SPEAKER_04]: and drove back

[00:49:39] [SPEAKER_04]: and then you know what you had you had food

[00:49:41] [SPEAKER_04]: that was ready for you when you got home

[00:49:42] [SPEAKER_04]: it was nice wasn't it

[00:49:44] [SPEAKER_04]: you didn't have to go to the store when you got off

[00:49:46] [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't

[00:49:47] [SPEAKER_04]: it's interesting how that works around here

[00:49:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I am a

[00:49:52] [SPEAKER_02]: gorephobic

[00:49:54] [SPEAKER_04]: you also I don't know what the word for it is

[00:49:56] [SPEAKER_04]: but you're afraid of like following recipes

[00:49:59] you

[00:50:00] [SPEAKER_04]: are just the worst at it I try

[00:50:02] [SPEAKER_04]: like step one is like

[00:50:04] [SPEAKER_04]: preheat the oven and then put

[00:50:06] [SPEAKER_04]: the pork in the oven and then step

[00:50:08] [SPEAKER_04]: two is like while that's in the oven

[00:50:11] [SPEAKER_04]: fry some onions up in

[00:50:12] [SPEAKER_04]: a skillet and you're just like step one

[00:50:14] [SPEAKER_04]: pork in skillet onions

[00:50:16] [SPEAKER_04]: go in with it got it you're like

[00:50:18] [SPEAKER_04]: no what

[00:50:20] [SPEAKER_04]: happened step two pour in frozen

[00:50:22] [SPEAKER_04]: peas you're like oh I got the can fuck it

[00:50:23] [SPEAKER_04]: alright well that's

[00:50:26] [SPEAKER_02]: that's cool hey we got our vegetables in

[00:50:28] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah I'm sure

[00:50:29] [SPEAKER_04]: we got our vegetable mush in

[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_02]: still vegetables

[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_02]: still nutrients

[00:50:36] [SPEAKER_04]: made me feel like I was back in

[00:50:38] [SPEAKER_04]: fucking Fort Knox really

[00:50:40] [SPEAKER_04]: like what is this and they're like

[00:50:42] [SPEAKER_04]: green like what did it used to be

[00:50:44] [SPEAKER_04]: not piece okay

[00:50:45] [SPEAKER_04]: like this is baby food and then you

[00:50:48] [SPEAKER_04]: eat green mush mixed with yellow

[00:50:50] [SPEAKER_04]: mush and then you have a piece of bread

[00:50:53] [SPEAKER_04]: baby food and then you're like

[00:50:54] [SPEAKER_04]: ah this was good and they're like yes

[00:50:57] leave

[00:50:57] [SPEAKER_04]: and then you leave the you leave the

[00:51:00] [SPEAKER_04]: facility and you're like wow I'm glad

[00:51:01] [SPEAKER_04]: that you know like they're like what about like the other food groups

[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_04]: and like oh don't worry they gave you

[00:51:05] [SPEAKER_04]: watered down Kool-Aid for the

[00:51:07] [SPEAKER_04]: sugar so now you have sugar

[00:51:09] [SPEAKER_04]: and grains and vegetables so

[00:51:12] [SPEAKER_04]: you're good for the next

[00:51:13] [SPEAKER_04]: few hours what do you need yeah

[00:51:15] [SPEAKER_04]: mm-hmm that's

[00:51:20] [SPEAKER_02]: that's it alright well

[00:51:21] [SPEAKER_04]: so I was at H.E.B. the other day right

[00:51:23] [SPEAKER_04]: during this whole spree

[00:51:25] [SPEAKER_04]: of me actually going to the store to

[00:51:27] [SPEAKER_04]: get things

[00:51:29] [SPEAKER_04]: and I only had like three things so

[00:51:31] [SPEAKER_04]: I went up to the

[00:51:33] [SPEAKER_04]: self-checkout and there's

[00:51:35] [SPEAKER_04]: probably what like 10 self-checkouts

[00:51:37] [SPEAKER_04]: five on the left and five on the right and then

[00:51:39] [SPEAKER_04]: like a decent size open section

[00:51:41] [SPEAKER_04]: in the middle and there's usually an attendant

[00:51:43] [SPEAKER_04]: there who you know walks around and

[00:51:45] [SPEAKER_04]: lights turn red when somebody needs

[00:51:47] [SPEAKER_04]: help so he'll walk up and like scan his ID

[00:51:49] [SPEAKER_04]: and he'll help you with whatever

[00:51:51] [SPEAKER_04]: he's real nice and

[00:51:54] [SPEAKER_04]: I

[00:51:54] [SPEAKER_04]: walked up and all 10 of these lanes

[00:51:57] [SPEAKER_04]: were full and

[00:52:00] [SPEAKER_04]: as

[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_04]: I was standing there I watched the worker

[00:52:03] [SPEAKER_04]: he got switched out with another

[00:52:05] [SPEAKER_04]: worker like they had just

[00:52:07] [SPEAKER_04]: finished his shift or something so he came up

[00:52:09] [SPEAKER_04]: to one another they talked for a second

[00:52:11] [SPEAKER_04]: or two the first guy walked off

[00:52:13] [SPEAKER_04]: who had been there and the second guy took over

[00:52:16] [SPEAKER_04]: well at the same time

[00:52:17] [SPEAKER_04]: one of the lanes opened so I went okay cool

[00:52:19] [SPEAKER_04]: so I went over the lane and I started scanning

[00:52:21] [SPEAKER_04]: my stuff and as I was

[00:52:23] [SPEAKER_04]: scanning like finishing scanning and I hit pay

[00:52:25] [SPEAKER_04]: and I look over

[00:52:28] [SPEAKER_04]: and almost like

[00:52:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I like a virus

[00:52:31] [SPEAKER_04]: or something hit all other not

[00:52:33] [SPEAKER_04]: all the other nine lanes

[00:52:35] [SPEAKER_04]: all turned red at once

[00:52:36] [SPEAKER_04]: I looked at mine and it just said

[00:52:39] [SPEAKER_04]: you know your payment complete

[00:52:41] [SPEAKER_04]: now I'm okay so I took out the payment

[00:52:42] [SPEAKER_04]: and I grabbed my stuff and I looked over

[00:52:45] [SPEAKER_04]: and I happened to see that guy who had

[00:52:47] [SPEAKER_04]: just got there and he looked up

[00:52:49] [SPEAKER_04]: and saw all nine of them and he visibly

[00:52:51] [SPEAKER_04]: was just like

[00:52:54] [SPEAKER_04]: he's like it's gonna be one of those

[00:52:55] [SPEAKER_04]: days and he walked by

[00:52:57] [SPEAKER_04]: and like started

[00:52:58] [SPEAKER_04]: to the closest person and started scanning it

[00:53:01] [SPEAKER_04]: and like two other people from other

[00:53:03] [SPEAKER_04]: fucking registers saw him doing that

[00:53:05] [SPEAKER_04]: saw all the lights red walked over and tapped

[00:53:07] [SPEAKER_04]: him was like I need help too and he's like

[00:53:09] [SPEAKER_04]: yep I see the lights everybody does

[00:53:11] [SPEAKER_04]: lady yeah so he's like frantically

[00:53:13] [SPEAKER_04]: trying to do through this while I'm walking out and I'm like

[00:53:15] [SPEAKER_04]: oh man sorry bye

[00:53:17] [SPEAKER_04]: like I don't know what they all did to fuck it up

[00:53:19] [SPEAKER_04]: but I'll see you later

[00:53:25] [SPEAKER_04]: anyway

[00:53:27] [SPEAKER_04]: the moistness is gone so

[00:53:29] [SPEAKER_04]: we have to adjourn for the evening

[00:53:32] [SPEAKER_02]: see

[00:53:36] [SPEAKER_02]: well

[00:53:49] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah I gotta use the bathroom

[00:53:51] [SPEAKER_04]: you were just there

[00:53:52] [SPEAKER_02]: I've had coffee today

[00:53:53] [SPEAKER_04]: you should not be drinking coffee

[00:53:55] [SPEAKER_04]: why? you're an adult

[00:53:58] [SPEAKER_02]: should I be drinking liquor?

[00:54:01] [SPEAKER_04]: no

[00:54:03] [SPEAKER_04]: that would be dangerous

[00:54:04] [SPEAKER_04]: at this early time of the morning

[00:54:07] [SPEAKER_02]: not at the later time of night

[00:54:09] [SPEAKER_04]: no because then you'd fall asleep
