[00:00:00] That was just so sad.

[00:00:13] You're the one who showed me.

[00:00:14] I didn't show you.

[00:00:15] You were just eavesdropping on my phone like a pervert.

[00:00:18] You're eavesdropping on your phone.

[00:00:19] Like a pervert.

[00:00:20] Thank you for repeating me.

[00:00:21] I'm not a pervert.

[00:00:22] Are you part parrot?

[00:00:23] No.

[00:00:24] Well, you repeated me.

[00:00:27] Whatever.

[00:00:28] You listen.

[00:00:29] No, you listen.

[00:00:30] All right, parrot.

[00:00:33] Nailed it.

[00:00:36] Hello.

[00:00:37] Welcome back to Mindless Prattle.

[00:00:40] That took a second, but she got there.

[00:00:42] She realized where she was.

[00:00:43] It was fine.

[00:00:44] I didn't think we were just going to stop.

[00:00:46] What did you think was going to happen?

[00:00:48] You were going to do the intro.

[00:00:49] No, that's your job.

[00:00:50] You make me do the intro and outro every time now.

[00:00:53] I don't believe that.

[00:00:54] Go ahead.

[00:00:55] Hello, and welcome back to Mindless Prattle, where you get to hear me and Jordan.

[00:00:59] Are you in talk about nothing?

[00:01:01] Quick, what episode is it?

[00:01:03] Fuck, I don't know.

[00:01:05] Uh-oh.

[00:01:06] She doesn't know.

[00:01:07] Episode Season 2?

[00:01:10] Episode Season 2.

[00:01:11] Yep, that's it.

[00:01:12] She's nailed it.

[00:01:13] Season 2 episode like, I don't know, 20?

[00:01:16] 20?

[00:01:17] 15?

[00:01:18] What?

[00:01:19] Wait, what month is it?

[00:01:21] Hold on.

[00:01:22] March, January, February, March, April.

[00:01:25] So like, Season 2 episode 8?

[00:01:28] I want you to think about this for a moment.

[00:01:31] Once a week we put out an episode.

[00:01:34] Episode 8 would be 8 weeks in.

[00:01:37] How many weeks are in a month?

[00:01:40] Four.

[00:01:41] Yep.

[00:01:42] What episode are we on, Jordan?

[00:01:44] 64 is the episode.

[00:01:45] Holy fuck.

[00:01:46] Episode 64.

[00:01:47] The month is...

[00:01:50] Yeah, the count didn't reset, but thank you for participating.

[00:01:52] The years are over.

[00:01:53] I'm gonna go ahead and buy.

[00:01:54] I like that you tried to determine the count by going like,

[00:01:57] oh yes, it's April.

[00:01:59] Therefore, it's somewhere in the eights.

[00:02:01] Okay.

[00:02:02] Listen, yesterday somebody asked me what 1.25 times six was

[00:02:06] and I was like, I don't fucking know, just do something.

[00:02:09] Look, as far as I'm concerned, April equals eight

[00:02:12] because A is the first letter.

[00:02:14] A?

[00:02:15] April?

[00:02:16] Same thing?

[00:02:17] I was thinking like twice a month.

[00:02:19] I don't know why.

[00:02:20] Yeah, no.

[00:02:21] It sits every week turns out.

[00:02:22] That's crazy, huh?

[00:02:24] Well, what do you gotta talk about this week?

[00:02:27] Wow, just gonna throw it on me like you haven't been existing

[00:02:30] for the past week.

[00:02:31] I barely exist.

[00:02:33] Don't look at me like that.

[00:02:35] What do you think I do?

[00:02:36] You think I'm just like flourishing?

[00:02:37] Okay, listen, the only thing like funny that happened to me

[00:02:39] was today.

[00:02:40] Go on.

[00:02:41] So I'm like on my 10 and...

[00:02:43] Oh yeah, I was on my 10 o'clock too.

[00:02:46] At my 10, on my 10 minute break at work.

[00:02:49] Oh, you're on a break.

[00:02:50] Okay.

[00:02:51] I'm in my car chilling.

[00:02:53] It's like 80 degrees so I have the windows down.

[00:02:56] This woman walks up to my car and then knocks

[00:02:59] and she goes, oh, I thought you were someone else.

[00:03:04] In your car?

[00:03:05] In my car.

[00:03:07] And I was like, no, it's okay.

[00:03:10] What?

[00:03:11] And then she just walked away and I was like,

[00:03:14] what?

[00:03:15] I'm here every single day.

[00:03:17] How did you do this?

[00:03:18] It's so weird.

[00:03:19] Yeah, I thought you were someone else.

[00:03:21] She was so embarrassed.

[00:03:22] It was so funny.

[00:03:23] I was just like, okay, bye.

[00:03:25] I've done that too where I feel embarrassed going up to

[00:03:28] someone's car, but it's when I like think that it's the

[00:03:31] car I'm supposed to be getting into, not just someone

[00:03:33] I know.

[00:03:34] I've done that before.

[00:03:35] Especially with your car since it's white.

[00:03:38] Like I'll walk up to the car and I'm like, oh, that's

[00:03:40] not the right car.

[00:03:41] You suck at identifying my car.

[00:03:42] You'll just walk up to any white car and you're just

[00:03:44] like, this is yours.

[00:03:45] And I'm like, no, it's not.

[00:03:46] You're like, but it's running.

[00:03:48] And I'm like, and we're outside it.

[00:03:50] So why would it be running?

[00:03:51] Like what?

[00:03:52] There was one time I did that and there's someone in the

[00:03:54] car and I was like, oh my God, I'm going to die.

[00:03:56] I remember that too.

[00:03:58] Yeah.

[00:03:59] But it was fine.

[00:04:00] But yeah, that's pretty much what happened to me this

[00:04:02] week that I can remember.

[00:04:04] I have been having a painful week and it's probably

[00:04:08] going to contribute to how short this episode is

[00:04:11] because talking is just super fun right now.

[00:04:14] Basically over the weekend, over this past weekend,

[00:04:17] my jaw was like, hey, have you ever felt immense pain?

[00:04:21] And I was just like, no, not recently.

[00:04:23] And it was like two to Lou.

[00:04:24] Good job.

[00:04:25] Here you are.

[00:04:26] So I basically been getting what's up.

[00:04:30] You go first on my part up.

[00:04:32] Okay.

[00:04:33] I basically basically basically yes.

[00:04:36] It's a baseball.

[00:04:38] You know, like in baseball, you basically you.

[00:04:41] I've been getting like two, maybe three hours of sleep

[00:04:45] each night because I keep waking up from pain in my

[00:04:48] mouth, right?

[00:04:50] And the pain was coming from my lower left side of my jaw

[00:04:55] and I could feel it.

[00:04:56] It felt like a bone, like a shard of a bone or something

[00:04:59] was sticking out of my gums.

[00:05:01] Like it was it was bleeding pretty much every day.

[00:05:04] I could see it.

[00:05:05] I was like, this is the cause of pain.

[00:05:07] I will be in pain for a while.

[00:05:11] So on Monday, I made a appointment with the teeth people.

[00:05:18] And today I went, why are you laughing?

[00:05:23] All right.

[00:05:25] Today I went to the teeth people and they were like, oh,

[00:05:29] your gums look really healthy.

[00:05:30] And I was like, I really don't give a shit about that

[00:05:32] right now.

[00:05:33] I can't sleep.

[00:05:34] Like what?

[00:05:35] Like literally they were like here, put these glasses on.

[00:05:37] So when we spray water in your mouth, it won't get in

[00:05:40] your eyes.

[00:05:41] And I said, what is this for?

[00:05:43] Will you please just look at my teeth?

[00:05:45] I verbatim.

[00:05:46] That's what I said to them.

[00:05:47] And she goes, no, it's for the exam.

[00:05:49] I said, does the exam cover like the pain that's

[00:05:54] like happening in my mouth?

[00:05:55] She goes, well, we have to check all your teeth first.

[00:05:57] And I was like, I don't care about my teeth.

[00:05:59] I care about the one spot in particular that is causing

[00:06:01] me to lose sleep.

[00:06:03] Like all my other teeth could fall out right now.

[00:06:07] And the one spot that's still remaining is the reason I'm

[00:06:10] here.

[00:06:12] She's like, well, we have to still do the whole thing.

[00:06:16] And it didn't start out great because before this,

[00:06:19] before we got to this point in the exam, I don't know

[00:06:22] if you've, okay, this is like a kids don't like

[00:06:25] the dentist.

[00:06:26] Like a lot of people don't like going to the dentist.

[00:06:28] It's painful.

[00:06:29] Okay.

[00:06:30] So I've been in my life in my 26 years.

[00:06:33] I've never had an issue with the dentist.

[00:06:37] And so when I went to this appointment today,

[00:06:42] this was the worst most painful experience I've

[00:06:45] had with any fucking dentist.

[00:06:47] It was, it was so bad.

[00:06:49] Like it started off where they were like, oh, we

[00:06:51] need to take x-rays and I was like, good, let's do

[00:06:53] it.

[00:06:54] And she did like the full like head x-ray like

[00:06:57] the panoramic x-ray, which is a different

[00:06:59] machine, which I was like cool because that doesn't

[00:07:01] involve me like being in pain.

[00:07:03] Is that the one where you just bite down?

[00:07:05] Yeah, you bite down on like a tiny little mouthpiece

[00:07:07] and they rotate like a big machine around your

[00:07:09] head and it scans like your entire face.

[00:07:11] Like it's a panoramic, right?

[00:07:13] So then she's like, okay, come over and sit in

[00:07:17] the dental exam chair, right?

[00:07:19] And I said, okay.

[00:07:20] So I sat in the chair and she goes, all right,

[00:07:22] now we're going to do the x-rays.

[00:07:23] And I was like, what did we just do?

[00:07:25] Like it took her like 20 minutes to figure it

[00:07:28] out and then someone came over and helped her.

[00:07:30] She must be new.

[00:07:31] No, she's definitely new because someone else came

[00:07:33] over and was like, where are your gloves at?

[00:07:35] And she's like, oh, right, I need to put on gloves.

[00:07:37] I was like, I swear to God, like this.

[00:07:39] Anyway, so we get over to the actual like chair

[00:07:43] part.

[00:07:44] I sit down and she goes, okay, we're going to do

[00:07:47] the x-rays now.

[00:07:48] And I was like, what did we just do?

[00:07:50] And she's like, oh, that's the panoramic x-ray.

[00:07:52] I hit the microphone there.

[00:07:53] That's the panoramic x-ray.

[00:07:55] These are like the individual spot x-rays of your mouth.

[00:08:00] I said, okay.

[00:08:02] And so she starts putting that little like black little cube

[00:08:07] in my mouth in different places.

[00:08:09] And on the right side, it's fine, you know,

[00:08:12] because that's the right.

[00:08:14] That's what I say.

[00:08:15] That's what hurts my mouth when I don't have a tooth problem.

[00:08:17] Okay.

[00:08:18] Yes.

[00:08:19] That is what I told her.

[00:08:20] I said, my before we got over to the chair,

[00:08:22] she said, what brings you in today?

[00:08:24] And I said, I am having a lot of pain coming from my lower left

[00:08:28] jaw because it feels like a bone is coming through my gums.

[00:08:33] And it hurts a lot.

[00:08:35] Like two times in the same sentence,

[00:08:37] I said pain and hurts a lot.

[00:08:39] Like it was a whole thing.

[00:08:41] And she's like, okay, yeah, that's fine.

[00:08:44] Yeah.

[00:08:45] I was listening to her.

[00:08:46] I like, I almost in the waiting room while I was

[00:08:49] waiting for the dentist, it had been so long.

[00:08:51] So that had taken anything that I was like physically feeling

[00:08:55] my mouth.

[00:08:57] The feeling where your whole body starts to sense up because

[00:09:00] of how much pain you're in.

[00:09:02] No, my mouth and my like, my whole mouth or the left side

[00:09:08] of my jaw and my mouth feels so sore that I can feel it

[00:09:12] pulsating into my head because there's nerves that run

[00:09:15] from your jaw up into your skull.

[00:09:18] And so my, my head was pulsating with like every heartbeat

[00:09:23] to the point where I was swaying in the waiting room chair

[00:09:27] because I was just like swaying with each heartbeat.

[00:09:30] And I felt like I was going to pass out.

[00:09:32] Can I just say Jordan does not complain about pain.

[00:09:34] Like Jordan, no matter how much pain he's in, he's like,

[00:09:36] yeah, I'm good.

[00:09:37] You know, so I knew it was pretty fucking bad.

[00:09:41] It's pretty bad.

[00:09:43] So I got to the chair itself.

[00:09:45] She says, oh, we need to do X-rays.

[00:09:47] I'm like, what did we just do?

[00:09:48] And she's like, oh, that's panoramic.

[00:09:50] Anyway, so she starts doing these X-rays on the right side

[00:09:53] of my mouth and it hurt the right side of my mouth.

[00:09:55] You're correct.

[00:09:56] It hurts when you're not in pain.

[00:09:57] It's like sharp as fuck that thing.

[00:09:59] Yeah.

[00:10:00] The little black like back plate thing that they use.

[00:10:03] It hurt the right side of my mouth.

[00:10:05] And I said, I don't know if I'm going to be able to do

[00:10:07] the left side because I'm in so much pain right now.

[00:10:11] And she says, oh no, you just have to bite on this little plate.

[00:10:15] I was like, okay.

[00:10:18] And so I, we go around.

[00:10:21] She does the right side.

[00:10:23] She does the front.

[00:10:25] Then she does the left side and the left side is where

[00:10:28] I'm having the pain.

[00:10:29] And I tell her like it's just going to be probably right.

[00:10:32] So she just goes, no, no, you need to bite down.

[00:10:36] I was like, I can't bite down.

[00:10:39] Like I have physically not been able to eat with the left side of

[00:10:42] my face for like three or four days now.

[00:10:45] And she goes, well, we need the x-rays before the doctor will

[00:10:49] come over and by that point, the person who was like training

[00:10:53] her had left.

[00:10:55] So I just sat there and I said, okay, let's do it.

[00:10:59] And so she put the plate in.

[00:11:01] It hurts so bad.

[00:11:03] We get through all the x-rays.

[00:11:06] They like, they said just, just hang out here.

[00:11:10] The doctor will be here in a second.

[00:11:11] They were reviewing my x-rays, right?

[00:11:14] First time I've been to this dentist, I haven't been there

[00:11:16] before.

[00:11:17] So they were looking over my x-rays and I looked down and

[00:11:20] I had physically ripped their chair apart because of how much

[00:11:24] I was gripping their chair while they were taking x-rays

[00:11:28] because I didn't want to move and have to have them retake

[00:11:31] the x-rays.

[00:11:32] That's so bad.

[00:11:33] So I was gripping onto the armrest so much that it would

[00:11:38] like tore off.

[00:11:39] Like, you know how you used to have like an old like nerve

[00:11:42] football and people in gym class, you're like, what are all

[00:11:45] these little holes in it?

[00:11:46] Because people like tear it apart.

[00:11:47] No, that was the armrest of the chair after the x-rays.

[00:11:50] It was just torn apart because I just kept digging

[00:11:52] into it and like holding on to it so tight.

[00:11:56] And so finally they were like, oh yeah, your x-rays

[00:11:59] look good.

[00:12:00] Thanks.

[00:12:01] Thanks for that.

[00:12:02] And they left and I'm just like physically like sitting there

[00:12:06] shaking and she comes back.

[00:12:08] The actual dental hygienist, not the one that was in training,

[00:12:12] she comes back and goes, oh we need to take your blood pressure

[00:12:15] before the dentist comes and sees you.

[00:12:18] So okay, go for it.

[00:12:21] She takes it on my right arm and she, the little reading

[00:12:25] goes off, right?

[00:12:27] And she looks at me.

[00:12:29] The little reading, it goes off and she looks at me and she goes,

[00:12:33] you need to be taking blood pressure medication.

[00:12:36] Are you taking any?

[00:12:37] I said no.

[00:12:38] She said this is one of the highest I've ever seen.

[00:12:41] I was like, yes because I'm in so much pain from what just

[00:12:45] happened and I haven't, I told her I was, I'm in so much pain

[00:12:49] from what just happened.

[00:12:50] I haven't eaten anything today.

[00:12:52] All I've had is an energy drink to get me here and then

[00:12:55] you just start stabbing me and causing me pain.

[00:12:58] And of course my blood pressure is going to be fucking high.

[00:13:01] And so they sit me down, like I'm still sitting down and she

[00:13:05] goes, okay well let me put it on your other wrist and I was

[00:13:08] like, yeah because I have different veins in my left arm,

[00:13:12] you motherfucker.

[00:13:13] And so she turns off like the lights in the room

[00:13:19] basically and is like just take a lot of deep breaths.

[00:13:21] So I'm sitting there like trying to take deep breaths

[00:13:23] before I punch someone.

[00:13:25] And she comes back in and she's like, oh perfect it's not

[00:13:28] in the triple digits anymore.

[00:13:29] And I was like, oh perfect you still have all your fucking

[00:13:32] teeth.

[00:13:34] Takes the blood pressure, monitor off me, walks away,

[00:13:38] turns the lights back on which I'm like I hate you.

[00:13:41] And the dentist comes in, I tell him the same thing.

[00:13:46] He goes, how are you doing this?

[00:13:47] I said, not good.

[00:13:48] I'm in a lot of pain.

[00:13:49] I don't even know his fucking name.

[00:13:52] But that's the first thing I said to him and he says,

[00:13:57] okay well let's get on with the exam.

[00:13:59] What part hurts?

[00:14:01] I said the lower left corner of my jaw where my wisdom tooth

[00:14:06] used to be, it feels like something's like growing out

[00:14:09] of my gums or coming out of my gums.

[00:14:12] He says, okay well we'll take a look.

[00:14:14] I have to check your gum health first.

[00:14:16] I'm like why do you have to?

[00:14:17] Like in my head, why do you have to?

[00:14:20] Look at the area that's in pain, go from there.

[00:14:23] And can I just say Jordan has had a perfect dental health

[00:14:27] up until this point?

[00:14:28] I had a dental checkup less than two months,

[00:14:32] two and a half months ago.

[00:14:34] And they said, oh yeah everything's fine.

[00:14:39] And this happened over like over the past weekend.

[00:14:42] You've been under a lot of stress though if it makes sense.

[00:14:44] Well so then this is the other part that happened.

[00:14:47] The lady who is the actual dental hygienist,

[00:14:49] not the one in training, she left again.

[00:14:52] So it's me, the trainee and the actual dentist.

[00:14:57] And he's telling me the has to start,

[00:15:01] I don't know why, by checking my gum health.

[00:15:05] Okay sure.

[00:15:07] So he starts prodding my teeth

[00:15:10] and they have a number system for your teeth.

[00:15:15] And it's like two, three, two, one, four, one, three, eight, five.

[00:15:18] Whatever right?

[00:15:20] It's a scale of one to five that they use on every tooth.

[00:15:22] There's like three different like checks that they do

[00:15:25] according to each tooth.

[00:15:27] And then they record it in your record.

[00:15:29] They just basically type like two, three, two, three, two,

[00:15:32] three, two, two, like it's a whole thing right?

[00:15:36] He got like a quarter of the way done

[00:15:39] with my top row of teeth while he's actively stabbing me

[00:15:43] and then the trainee goes, oh, are we doing prodding?

[00:15:50] There was a notable silence in the room

[00:15:55] and then the dentist just looked up and he goes, yes,

[00:15:58] I said prodding, or probing, sorry.

[00:16:01] He said, yes, I said probing before we started.

[00:16:05] That is what we're doing.

[00:16:07] And she goes, oh okay.

[00:16:09] So then he has to start over.

[00:16:12] He starts over, three, two, two, three, two, three, two, three, two,

[00:16:17] three, two, gets like less than halfway of what he did before.

[00:16:22] And she goes, oh it's not recording.

[00:16:27] So he stops for the second time, looks over at her

[00:16:31] and he goes, yes because you're touching the mouse.

[00:16:35] He said, so he hit exit.

[00:16:39] And he said, he's like no, hit exit, do not save.

[00:16:43] He said hit start and then all you have to do is type the numbers

[00:16:48] as I say them, do not move the mouse.

[00:16:51] If you move the mouse it exits the program and you have to restart.

[00:16:56] She said, oh okay.

[00:16:58] Bad trainee.

[00:17:00] Has to start again the third time now.

[00:17:04] So he starts again and he goes, alright starting over.

[00:17:08] Three, two, two, three, two, she goes, no it's still not working.

[00:17:11] And he stops again and I'm like holy shit.

[00:17:13] I was about to get up and do it myself.

[00:17:15] I was like what the fuck is happening here?

[00:17:17] I was like just give me the keyboard.

[00:17:19] I'll type threes and twos all fucking day.

[00:17:21] Like what the fuck?

[00:17:23] So it was so bad.

[00:17:25] And I was like the whole time he's stabbing me

[00:17:27] with each number.

[00:17:29] I'm like this doesn't help me.

[00:17:31] We're still not even examining the problem that I'm here for today.

[00:17:37] So he fully stops this time.

[00:17:40] Fully takes everything out of my mouth like the guards,

[00:17:43] the thing that's keeping my mouth open, everything.

[00:17:45] And just looks at me and he kind of rolls his eyes

[00:17:48] and then looks at her and he walks over there

[00:17:51] and physically tells her, he goes stop touching the mouse.

[00:17:54] I will unplug it.

[00:17:56] Just type the numbers that I am telling you.

[00:18:02] I've never had anything like that happened before.

[00:18:05] It was so upsetting because I'm like I'm still in pain

[00:18:08] and now my gums hurt because you're stabbing them.

[00:18:13] So he comes back over, he goes three, two, two.

[00:18:18] And then he just stops after the first like couple numbers

[00:18:21] which is the first tooth and he's just staring at her.

[00:18:26] And you'll bet money but swear to God

[00:18:31] she moves the mouse again and she's behind me.

[00:18:34] And I see it but he goes stop moving the mouse.

[00:18:37] Like he's done at this point and I'm like, I will go.

[00:18:40] I just want to fix this patient.

[00:18:41] Not even that.

[00:18:42] He hasn't even started the exam.

[00:18:43] Like it was the first thing that he's doing.

[00:18:45] He does one tooth.

[00:18:47] He didn't even stab me that time.

[00:18:48] He just knew the number because he'd said it three times already.

[00:18:51] He goes three, two, two.

[00:18:53] And she's, she moved the mouse I guess again.

[00:18:56] She's behind me so I can't see.

[00:18:59] I am sorry.

[00:19:00] I'm just getting like a second hand frustrated and I can't.

[00:19:04] I swear, like if he was the one fucking up

[00:19:07] I might have punched him because I wasn't so much pain.

[00:19:09] Like I was still death gripping these arm rests

[00:19:14] and he's just sitting there talking to this trainee.

[00:19:21] This training like dental.

[00:19:23] Okay, hold on.

[00:19:24] I just want you to know you can always say

[00:19:26] I don't want this person working on me.

[00:19:28] Get somebody else.

[00:19:30] No, I fully told the woman that was helping her like training her.

[00:19:35] I said, will you stay with her because I'm in a lot of pain.

[00:19:38] And she said, she said, no, she's fully trained.

[00:19:42] She just came back from like a leave of absence or something.

[00:19:45] And I was like, okay.

[00:19:47] Should not have trusted her.

[00:19:49] I don't know what her leave of that was she doing coke

[00:19:52] the whole fucking time.

[00:19:53] I don't know if she lost.

[00:19:55] I don't know if she lost her mind.

[00:19:57] But so like the fifth time he starts,

[00:20:05] he literally took them out.

[00:20:06] Like I leaned back to watch.

[00:20:08] He took the mouse and he put it on the other side of the keyboard

[00:20:11] and he goes type the numbers and he started again

[00:20:15] and he did my whole mouth.

[00:20:17] And that time I guess she actually typed it.

[00:20:19] He goes now touch nothing.

[00:20:22] And he hit he walked over there and she goes, okay,

[00:20:25] I move it over to hit save.

[00:20:27] And he goes touch nothing.

[00:20:28] Like he yelled at her because she was about to grab the mouse

[00:20:31] that was on the opposite side of the keyboard to move it to click save.

[00:20:35] And I guess if the program,

[00:20:37] if she moved the mouse, it deletes the whole thing.

[00:20:40] So he literally, he literally like almost yelled at her.

[00:20:43] What a terrible program.

[00:20:44] But no, I know hygienist.

[00:20:46] He yelled at her and said touch nothing.

[00:20:49] And she backed up and he hit enter and then a window popped up

[00:20:52] and it said save yes or no.

[00:20:54] And he clicked on the left arrow and then hit enter again

[00:20:58] and it saved it because I, he didn't trust her

[00:21:01] and I was like, oh my gosh, please.

[00:21:05] So then she, he goes, okay, where's the pain?

[00:21:10] And I think he was talking to me

[00:21:12] because he was looking right fucking at me.

[00:21:15] But she says, oh, it's on the upper left corner of his mouth

[00:21:20] where his wisdom tooth used to be.

[00:21:22] And he doesn't say a word.

[00:21:26] He looks at me and we're making like direct eye contact

[00:21:29] because he's over me and he taps the upper side of my mouth.

[00:21:33] I just shake my head left and right.

[00:21:36] He taps the lower side of my mouth and I shake my head yes

[00:21:40] and he just nods.

[00:21:41] He's like, he goes, all right.

[00:21:43] Yeah, like didn't trust her at all.

[00:21:46] And I was like, oh my gosh.

[00:21:48] Finally goes through the whole thing.

[00:21:50] It was like, which tooth hurts?

[00:21:51] And I'm like this one.

[00:21:52] And so he taps it and he's like, does that hurt?

[00:21:54] I'm like, yes.

[00:21:55] Yeah.

[00:21:56] He goes, okay, raise your hand when you feel pain.

[00:21:59] And he just started tapping every tooth of mine in a row

[00:22:02] and I raised my hand when he got to the tooth that hurt

[00:22:05] and the gums.

[00:22:08] He's like, okay.

[00:22:10] Yeah, I think I can see the problem.

[00:22:11] It's probably a fracture and there's some left of residue

[00:22:14] from when your wisdom teeth were taken out.

[00:22:16] Were they taken out recently?

[00:22:18] I said, no, it's been over a decade since my wisdom teeth

[00:22:21] were taken out.

[00:22:22] He goes, oh yeah.

[00:22:24] And this can happen sometimes.

[00:22:26] Sometimes it takes like decades for that stuff to come out of

[00:22:28] your gums.

[00:22:29] I'm like, what the hell are you talking about?

[00:22:34] He goes, I'm flabbergasted.

[00:22:36] I'm flabbergasted.

[00:22:38] Yeah, he's like, yeah, you'll need a root canal

[00:22:42] for the tooth.

[00:22:43] We can try and pull the remaining like glue or whatever it is out,

[00:22:49] but it might cause more damage than just leaving it

[00:22:51] for your body to like expel naturally.

[00:22:53] And I was like, okay.

[00:22:55] He goes, then you'll need a crown.

[00:22:56] I was like, all right, sure, whatever.

[00:22:58] I was like, dude, I have a flight tomorrow morning.

[00:23:01] Can you, like what are we doing here?

[00:23:04] He says, oh go see the checkout or she'll schedule everything

[00:23:07] for you.

[00:23:08] So I walk over there.

[00:23:09] She hands me a bill.

[00:23:11] The bill says a thousand dollars.

[00:23:13] And I was like, I'm not paying a thousand dollars for that man

[00:23:16] to like torture me for the past hour.

[00:23:21] And she, I said it was a thousand dollars for him to

[00:23:26] point out that I have a crack tooth and glue in my gums.

[00:23:31] And she says, no, no, no, no.

[00:23:34] She said that is the cost of the root canal

[00:23:37] and the crown and everything for when you come back next time.

[00:23:41] I said, you might want to fucking start with that

[00:23:43] because all you did was hand me a paper with a number

[00:23:45] that was circled and it was a thousand.

[00:23:47] And I was like, what the fuck?

[00:23:48] Not a good dentist.

[00:23:49] I'm just saying.

[00:23:50] So I was like, holy shit.

[00:23:53] She's like, well, if you need the,

[00:23:57] if you want the root canal to be done here,

[00:24:01] you need to see the endodontist.

[00:24:05] You know what it is?

[00:24:06] I said, okay, can you set up an appointment for me to see

[00:24:10] that person then?

[00:24:11] She said, oh, you can see him right now.

[00:24:13] Like, well, then why the fuck am I in the middle of checkout?

[00:24:16] If I can see him right now.

[00:24:17] And she said, just go sit back down in your room.

[00:24:20] He'll be in shortly.

[00:24:22] Oh my God.

[00:24:23] Okay.

[00:24:24] So I turn around and go sit back down in the chair.

[00:24:26] You thought their story was over.

[00:24:27] We're like halfway through.

[00:24:28] No, you've been talking for like 15 minutes.

[00:24:30] Like, Jesus.

[00:24:31] It was a whole, I was there.

[00:24:32] Okay.

[00:24:33] My appointment was at 1pm.

[00:24:36] This was, I'd never been to this dentist before.

[00:24:38] So I showed up almost half an hour early so I could fill out

[00:24:41] their paperwork.

[00:24:42] I was done with the paperwork at like 1250.

[00:24:45] I was in the chair with x-rays and everything from about

[00:24:51] 105 until about 350.

[00:24:55] Like I was there for like almost over two hours.

[00:24:58] Just sitting there going through all this shit.

[00:25:02] So I go sit back in the chair.

[00:25:05] The end of the dentist comes in.

[00:25:08] By the way, they were not super friendly.

[00:25:12] Like you know how you were sitting in like a doctor's office?

[00:25:16] If you're sitting on that chair just kind of like waiting for

[00:25:18] the doctor when they walk into the room, they're like,

[00:25:21] Hey, how are you doing?

[00:25:22] I'm doctor so-and-so.

[00:25:24] Let me take a look at your charts real quick or whatever

[00:25:26] and I'll be right with you.

[00:25:27] And you're like, okay, sounds good.

[00:25:29] No, they would walk in all five of the people who came in

[00:25:33] and out of that room.

[00:25:35] They walked into the room.

[00:25:36] They walked over to the computer.

[00:25:38] They didn't say a fucking word to me and they were on the

[00:25:41] computer looking at I guess my records for four or five

[00:25:46] minutes straight while I'm just sitting in this chair

[00:25:48] like staring at the ceiling.

[00:25:51] They were good at what they do.

[00:25:53] Like they-but I was like, except for the dental

[00:25:57] dentist, the one that was in training, everyone else was

[00:25:59] fine.

[00:26:00] Like everyone else did their job really well.

[00:26:02] It was just her that like delayed a whole bunch of shit

[00:26:05] because once like-once the endodontist came in, he looked

[00:26:07] at everything and he goes, okay, so it's this tooth

[00:26:09] and I said yeah, and he goes, all right, let me test

[00:26:11] it.

[00:26:12] I'm going to close your eyes.

[00:26:13] I said, okay.

[00:26:14] He started tapping on teeth.

[00:26:15] He says, raise your hand when I tap on the tooth

[00:26:17] that hurts.

[00:26:18] I said, okay.

[00:26:19] So he started tapping around.

[00:26:20] He tapped on my tooth and I raised my hand.

[00:26:22] He goes, okay.

[00:26:23] He started tapping on the other teeth.

[00:26:24] Yeah, nothing hurt.

[00:26:25] So he didn't raise my hand.

[00:26:26] I said, yeah, just had tooth.

[00:26:27] He goes, okay.

[00:26:28] So he get like a little whatever tool he looked at.

[00:26:30] He goes, yeah, it looks like a little tiny fracture.

[00:26:33] He goes, that's fine.

[00:26:35] And he said, let me-he said are you in a lot of pain?

[00:26:38] I said, I can't sleep very well anymore because

[00:26:40] of how much pain I'm in.

[00:26:42] He said, all right, let me check with the-the

[00:26:46] scheduler.

[00:26:47] I can probably fit you in today.

[00:26:49] And I was like, yes, please.

[00:26:51] As it was recovery time, he goes, there's no

[00:26:53] recovery time.

[00:26:54] Once we fixed the problem, it's fixed.

[00:26:56] Yeah.

[00:26:57] I was like, oh thank goodness.

[00:26:58] I was like, yeah, let's do it.

[00:27:00] So he goes over.

[00:27:01] He comes back like five, 10 minutes later and he said,

[00:27:03] I can't fit you in today but I can fit you in tomorrow.

[00:27:05] And I was like, tomorrow I-I can't.

[00:27:07] I'm flying out of town tomorrow.

[00:27:09] He said, well, the-when you come back, I told him.

[00:27:12] He said, all right, well, the first available

[00:27:15] appointment after that is this date.

[00:27:17] Do you think you can manage the pain until then?

[00:27:19] Because otherwise you're going to have to come back

[00:27:21] tomorrow.

[00:27:22] And I was like, yeah, I'll deal with it for the next

[00:27:24] four or five days.

[00:27:25] But oh my gosh, he was the only-like him and the

[00:27:28] actual dentist were the only ones I was like,

[00:27:30] I'm in a lot of pain.

[00:27:31] And they were like, yeah, right here.

[00:27:33] And I'm like, yeah, right here.

[00:27:35] I'm kind of surprised that you didn't give your

[00:27:37] antibiotics.

[00:27:38] Well, I asked him too.

[00:27:40] So what do I need to take for the pain?

[00:27:42] Or what do I need to take care of it?

[00:27:44] And he said, yeah, I'm going to do it.

[00:27:46] And I was like, yeah, I'm going to do it.

[00:27:48] And he said, yeah, I'm going to do it.

[00:27:50] And I was like, yeah, I'm going to take for the pain.

[00:27:52] Or what do I need to take care of it?

[00:27:54] And they're like, oh, just, what was it?

[00:27:56] Is it rinse your mouth out with saltwater a couple

[00:27:58] times a day, brush your teeth two or three

[00:28:00] times a day and then just make sure you're

[00:28:02] not taking some ibuprofen or something for

[00:28:05] the pain.

[00:28:06] So I was like, OK.

[00:28:08] That's what I got to do.

[00:28:09] That's what I'll do for the next few days.

[00:28:11] But like, oh my gosh, the first like two

[00:28:13] hours of that appointment, she was the

[00:28:15] worst dental hygienist I've ever had.

[00:28:17] The absolute worst.

[00:28:19] And I just say she sounds so fucking terrible.

[00:28:22] And I've literally had Dennis remove my teeth

[00:28:24] without numbing me.

[00:28:25] No, she was bad.

[00:28:27] Like honestly, you should go to my dentist

[00:28:30] in the future.

[00:28:31] They're so great.

[00:28:32] And then at the end, she's like, we can clean

[00:28:34] your teeth today.

[00:28:35] And I said, you will not touch my teeth again.

[00:28:37] And I stood up and like, yeah.

[00:28:40] She said, well, you can clean your teeth

[00:28:42] today after the dentist is done.

[00:28:44] I said, do not touch my teeth again.

[00:28:46] You will not be anywhere near me again.

[00:28:48] I'm like, I don't care if you only did X-rays.

[00:28:50] I don't want you near.

[00:28:51] Honestly, you should have complained to the office

[00:28:53] about her because like if you're having that many

[00:28:55] issues, how knows how many patients are?

[00:28:58] It was it was not good.

[00:29:00] I was just laughing because you were like a few

[00:29:03] days ago, you were in pain and I know you were

[00:29:05] paid, but you were just like, there's no way

[00:29:07] I have a crack tooth or a cavity.

[00:29:08] No, no, no.

[00:29:09] This is this is what it was.

[00:29:11] I said, I'm in a lot of pain and you said, oh,

[00:29:14] you have a crack tooth.

[00:29:16] I said, oh, I wonder if you know you did not.

[00:29:19] You said you probably have a crack tooth.

[00:29:22] And I said, I can feel something growing

[00:29:24] like out of my gums and it is causing pain.

[00:29:27] But you literally said there's no way I could

[00:29:29] have a cavity or a crack tooth.

[00:29:31] I've never had that.

[00:29:32] And I was like, okay, I'm sorry.

[00:29:34] My bad.

[00:29:35] You didn't take it that well.

[00:29:36] Don't lie.

[00:29:37] I just wouldn't buy it.

[00:29:38] Yeah.

[00:29:39] But you'd say to me and you're like, I

[00:29:40] have a crack tooth.

[00:29:41] And I was like, hmm.

[00:29:43] She made this murkiest.

[00:29:45] You just seen her as it was like she was trying to smirk to God.

[00:29:49] It was the emoji with glasses and a mustache.

[00:29:53] No, I saw the intent behind it.

[00:29:54] Your grin could not have been wider.

[00:29:56] I literally tackled at work.

[00:29:59] I literally tackled and everybody was like, what?

[00:30:02] And I was like, I was right.

[00:30:04] See, I knew it.

[00:30:06] I knew what that face meant.

[00:30:08] I saw that face.

[00:30:11] And I was like this motherfucker,

[00:30:13] she thinks she's better than everybody right now.

[00:30:16] I saw the face and I was like, I don't need your,

[00:30:20] I told you so attitude.

[00:30:22] I didn't need it.

[00:30:23] Okay.

[00:30:24] Didn't need it.

[00:30:26] It made me so happy because I'm like never right.

[00:30:29] Oh my God.

[00:30:30] I saw the face you made and I was like, she never uses this

[00:30:33] thing.

[00:30:34] Interesting.

[00:30:35] Son of a bitch.

[00:30:36] I was so mad but then I was okay.

[00:30:39] You, you sent me that little face.

[00:30:42] And I was so mad at it, but I had also just taken like 1600

[00:30:46] fucking milligrams of ibuprofen.

[00:30:48] So I did not care.

[00:30:50] I was like, I'm fine.

[00:30:51] I'm going to take a nap now and fell asleep anyway.

[00:30:54] It made me so happy.

[00:30:56] I just, I never am right like that.

[00:30:59] I was just like, yep, because I've cracked my tooth before

[00:31:03] and I was like, I don't understand how you're in this

[00:31:05] pain for I'm going to put this to rest though.

[00:31:08] We were like, I'm going to put this on the floor.

[00:31:11] I'm going to put this to rest though.

[00:31:13] We were both half right.

[00:31:14] You were not fully right because the dentist did govern.

[00:31:18] There is something coming out of my gums and it may be the

[00:31:22] glue that they use to close up the surgery from when I had

[00:31:26] my wisdom teeth removed and I have a crack too.

[00:31:29] So we were both right.

[00:31:31] I just want to throw that out there.

[00:31:33] I just, I was like, I can't understand how you're in this

[00:31:36] much pain over something coming out of your gums cause

[00:31:38] like, yeah, it hurts but normally it's just like sore.

[00:31:40] Wait, also I don't know if anyone is aware of this, but

[00:31:43] are you aware of the position that your tongue is in in

[00:31:45] your mouth all the time?

[00:31:47] I am.

[00:31:48] Right.

[00:31:49] Most people aren't.

[00:31:50] It's kind of normal like not keeping track of like your

[00:31:53] breath until it's like until you think about it.

[00:31:56] Right.

[00:31:57] It's one of those things.

[00:31:58] Okay.

[00:31:59] Over the past five or six days, I am keenly aware of

[00:32:02] where my tongue is because the left side of it is up

[00:32:06] against that piece of bone that's coming out of my

[00:32:09] mouth.

[00:32:10] That tongue.

[00:32:11] That every time I talk, move my tongue, think about

[00:32:14] something anytime it moves, it scrapes against that

[00:32:18] piece of bone and it hurts my jaw and it scrapes

[00:32:21] and it hurts my tongue.

[00:32:22] And I'm like, you mother fuck.

[00:32:24] So to the point where I'm like listening to music

[00:32:26] and I'm thinking about singing and I'll move my

[00:32:28] tongue, it'll scrape it and I go, nope.

[00:32:30] And I just sit in silence for hours.

[00:32:32] My fuck.

[00:32:33] Are you not used to being in pain?

[00:32:35] Not used to being in pain?

[00:32:36] No, I'm fine with being in pain.

[00:32:38] I feel like my pain tolerance is so high, like with teeth,

[00:32:41] especially like when I cracked my tooth, it hurt a lot.

[00:32:44] And you were like, go to the dentist and I was like, I've

[00:32:46] had worse.

[00:32:47] I've had worse.

[00:32:48] Okay.

[00:32:49] I've had worse pain.

[00:32:50] It's more of the annoyance of it.

[00:32:52] It's like constant.

[00:32:53] It's not like painful when my tongue scrapes up

[00:32:56] against the glue or whatever is coming out of

[00:32:59] my gums.

[00:33:00] It's not painful, but it is super annoying.

[00:33:03] It just annoys me.

[00:33:05] I don't like it.

[00:33:07] Yeah.

[00:33:08] And then with the crack tooth, like you don't feel it like

[00:33:10] really, but every time error or anything goes into your

[00:33:13] mouth, that's when it like activates.

[00:33:16] Oh, mine is different.

[00:33:18] They blew like cold air on it, cold water, nothing was

[00:33:21] bothering it.

[00:33:22] It must be really simple crack though.

[00:33:24] If I bite down while I put pressure on it, my whole

[00:33:28] left side of my like entire skull, it feels like I have

[00:33:32] a migraine and I'm like, oh, like it's just instant.

[00:33:36] I'm like, that's super fun.

[00:33:37] But my, my genus is great.

[00:33:39] And I feel like in the future, if you have an issue,

[00:33:41] you should try to see them because they're a family

[00:33:43] practice.

[00:33:44] So they're not as expensive and they're literally every

[00:33:46] single person I've interacted with that office is just

[00:33:49] so nice, so good at their jobs.

[00:33:51] No problems.

[00:33:52] All the receptionists were great.

[00:33:54] The checkout lady was great.

[00:33:55] She's like, here's why it costs as much.

[00:33:57] Here's what this is.

[00:33:58] Let me explain this to you.

[00:33:59] Let me explain that to you.

[00:34:00] Great.

[00:34:01] Great people.

[00:34:02] And I walked in and she goes, oh, I appreciate you

[00:34:04] coming in early.

[00:34:05] I didn't tell you that over the phone.

[00:34:06] I said, no, but I'm a new patient.

[00:34:08] So I figured I needed to come in a little early.

[00:34:11] She's like, oh my gosh, you're so wonderful.

[00:34:13] Normally, new patients show up right on time for their

[00:34:16] appointment and expect to get in, but you always have

[00:34:19] to come in early.

[00:34:20] And then she handed me like 10 pages that I had to

[00:34:22] fill out.

[00:34:23] And I was like, yeah, that's what I figured out.

[00:34:25] Anyway, all the receptionists were great.

[00:34:27] The dental hygienist, I, I like if we were on the

[00:34:31] street and she was doing those things, she'd be

[00:34:35] unconscious because I felt like punching her so hard in

[00:34:38] the face, which it was so bad.

[00:34:41] Like I only ever show up 10 minutes early.

[00:34:43] There was like shop half an hour early and I shop

[00:34:45] 10 minutes early because I can read so much faster

[00:34:47] than most people.

[00:34:48] So I finished that paperwork and I'm like, damn,

[00:34:50] you got to do it quick.

[00:34:51] And I'm like, yeah, I reading is not the issue.

[00:34:54] I mean, I can write pretty quickly.

[00:34:56] Reading like I just blast through it.

[00:34:58] I'm good.

[00:34:59] Yeah.

[00:35:00] I felt fun.

[00:35:01] Not fun, but I felt awkward.

[00:35:04] When it was like, when was your last dental exam?

[00:35:06] And I put the date.

[00:35:08] It was January 20th.

[00:35:09] I put the date and next to it, it said provider or

[00:35:14] provider's name or like dentists name or whatever.

[00:35:17] Right.

[00:35:18] I put unknown.

[00:35:21] Same thing with physical health assessment.

[00:35:23] So when was your last legal health assessment?

[00:35:25] Yeah.

[00:35:26] And I put the date because I knew the date and

[00:35:30] it said name of your physical health care provider.

[00:35:34] I put unknown and then I filled out the rest of the paperwork.

[00:35:38] That was like question two and three.

[00:35:40] We went to the back and the, uh,

[00:35:45] who was it?

[00:35:46] The, I don't know who was someone lady in charge of like

[00:35:48] records view, I guess she said, oh,

[00:35:51] I noticed you had a dental exam and a physical exam on

[00:35:53] these dates, but you put unknown for the providers.

[00:35:56] Like why is that?

[00:35:57] And I was like, oh yeah.

[00:35:58] No kids.

[00:35:59] Cause I'm in the army and I don't get to know their names.

[00:36:02] Like I walk into a room, they tell me to lay down,

[00:36:04] they check to see if all my teeth are there.

[00:36:06] And if anything hurts and then they tell me to leave the room.

[00:36:10] I'm like, so you don't know their name?

[00:36:12] I'm like, no, I couldn't even tell you what building we were in

[00:36:14] because it's a mobile trailer that shows up to our training

[00:36:17] site.

[00:36:18] We go into the trailer.

[00:36:19] They check us out in a chair that wobbles and then we

[00:36:22] get up and leave.

[00:36:23] Yeah.

[00:36:24] She goes, yeah, that'll do it.

[00:36:27] I was like, so I know the day.

[00:36:29] I just don't know who the fuck it was or what they checked for.

[00:36:33] I mean, it's usually embarrassing because it'll be like,

[00:36:35] who's your doctor?

[00:36:36] And I'm like, I don't have one.

[00:36:37] And they're like, you don't have a doctor.

[00:36:39] And I'm like, no, I don't trust bitches.

[00:36:45] Okay.

[00:36:46] I got one more story unless you got something because I

[00:36:49] feel like we should wrap up this episode.

[00:36:50] Honestly, nothing happened to me this week.

[00:36:52] Although today I, okay.

[00:36:54] So this morning my alarm did not go off.

[00:36:57] I had two alarms, neither one of them went off.

[00:37:00] One was set for like seven.

[00:37:01] One was set for like eight.

[00:37:03] I wake up at eight 25 ish and I had to be at work at nine,

[00:37:08] which I don't know about you guys, but I need like a full

[00:37:11] hour to wake up.

[00:37:12] Like I'm not one of those people can just get up and go.

[00:37:14] I need an hour.

[00:37:15] I need to shower.

[00:37:16] I need to have a drink and like get mentally ready for

[00:37:20] work.

[00:37:21] I got ready for work with like 15 minutes to spare.

[00:37:25] Traffic was so fucking backed up.

[00:37:28] Like, like I don't even bother taking the highways anymore

[00:37:31] most of time because it was backed up from like the

[00:37:33] entrance of the highway all the way past my exit.

[00:37:36] Like, so I took the side roads.

[00:37:38] The side roads were also back the fuck up.

[00:37:40] I was like, please let me get to work on time.

[00:37:42] I did.

[00:37:43] Yeah.

[00:37:45] But it made my day because my first interaction with

[00:37:49] the customer.

[00:37:50] I'm like, I also didn't take my medication yesterday.

[00:37:53] So I did not feel good.

[00:37:54] Like I had Jordan bring my medication at work because

[00:37:57] my head felt so fucking weird.

[00:37:59] I was like having like auditory hallucinations and shit,

[00:38:03] but I was trying my hardest.

[00:38:04] It wasn't the worst medication withdrawal I've been

[00:38:06] through effects.

[00:38:07] There was so much fucking worse, but I'm like trying

[00:38:10] my best and this customer looks at me and he's

[00:38:12] an older man.

[00:38:13] He goes, you have such a nice friendly smile that

[00:38:17] made my whole fucking day.

[00:38:18] I was like, he wasn't creepy about it or anything.

[00:38:22] He just like your friendly smile and I was like,

[00:38:24] I'm trying so hard.

[00:38:26] Thank you sir.

[00:38:27] Like I can't function right now.

[00:38:29] And then Jordan brought my medication after an hour.

[00:38:32] I was like, oh my God, I feel like a human being again.

[00:38:34] Like it was just weird.

[00:38:36] I just felt so weird.

[00:38:37] That was my day.

[00:38:39] I had that's nice to that guy.

[00:38:44] I was driving up to the desk appointment and it was

[00:38:48] like a four hour drive with some traffic, you know,

[00:38:52] before anyway, I had to take some of your medication.

[00:38:56] And okay, hold on.

[00:38:58] I was driving tastes good.

[00:39:00] I said, what the fuck?

[00:39:02] Did you actually take some?

[00:39:06] This is what happened.

[00:39:07] So I was almost back to the apartment and she

[00:39:12] texted me and said, Hey, can you bring me my medication?

[00:39:14] I didn't take it and I really need it.

[00:39:17] I did not respond because I was driving like a good noodle.

[00:39:21] I am.

[00:39:22] I'm sorry the camera is moving because of your hand and

[00:39:24] it's really funny.

[00:39:25] The camera is moving.

[00:39:26] Yeah, it just keeps following your hand.

[00:39:29] Oh that camera.

[00:39:30] I was like, this one anyway.

[00:39:32] So you text me and said, can you bring it?

[00:39:36] I didn't respond.

[00:39:38] Didn't say anything because I was like,

[00:39:40] I'm driving like a good noodle.

[00:39:41] I'm not going to text.

[00:39:43] And so I get all the way to the apartment.

[00:39:45] I see your like string of text messages.

[00:39:48] That's like bring me the medication.

[00:39:50] I need my drugs.

[00:39:51] The world is cruel.

[00:39:52] Everything's going to die.

[00:39:53] And so I grabbed the medication.

[00:39:55] It really changes my brain chemistry, okay?

[00:39:57] I grabbed the medication and I sat there and you know

[00:40:02] how you're driving and you just have those thoughts

[00:40:04] that's like, I could just drive into the opposite

[00:40:06] side of traffic and we could all die.

[00:40:08] Anyway, so I was sitting there looking at this bottle

[00:40:10] and I was like, that's a fun name for my medication.

[00:40:13] Sertraline.

[00:40:14] Yeah.

[00:40:15] So then.

[00:40:16] It's a generic name.

[00:40:17] So I was like, but then I also remembered I'm in pain

[00:40:22] and I took some ibuprofen and cinnamon, whatever we have,

[00:40:26] right?

[00:40:27] But I usually take the medication and then drink water.

[00:40:31] So I usually get a little bit of the taste of the

[00:40:33] medication.

[00:40:34] So I tasted it, right?

[00:40:35] Took the medication, whatever.

[00:40:37] Then I looked at your bottle and I was like,

[00:40:39] I wonder if it tastes good.

[00:40:40] So then I text you.

[00:40:42] I said, does it taste good?

[00:40:44] And then I thought about for half a second, I was like,

[00:40:47] I don't think any man that's in taste good.

[00:40:49] And I said, never mind.

[00:40:50] It doesn't.

[00:40:51] Well, in between that, I guess you were on your phone

[00:40:54] and you were like, no, why?

[00:40:58] And then immediately afterward, you said, what?

[00:41:02] But I was already driving.

[00:41:03] I was like, I'll figure it out.

[00:41:05] I mean, if you took it, nothing bad would happen to you.

[00:41:08] It probably just make you sleepy.

[00:41:09] But like, it's like, why would you taste it?

[00:41:12] No, it doesn't really taste like anything.

[00:41:14] It's a very tiny pill.

[00:41:16] I'm on half of the max dosage, I think.

[00:41:21] But no, it's fine.

[00:41:24] It doesn't.

[00:41:25] It's not like a gummy vitamin.

[00:41:26] It's just a pill that apparently if I don't take it,

[00:41:30] I get my brain goes, oh.

[00:41:34] But when I used to take a Fexor, that one gives you

[00:41:37] literal like electric zaps to your brain when you stop taking it.

[00:41:41] And I...

[00:41:42] That sounds fun and also not fun at the same time.

[00:41:45] It's so not fun.

[00:41:46] Like you'll turn your head slightly and it just feels

[00:41:48] like you've been electrically shocked.

[00:41:52] It was, I stopped taking that on my own.

[00:41:54] I had a taper on my own because it was a doctor from

[00:41:56] Vegas and all this sort of stuff.

[00:41:57] And so I was taking like a dose every other day.

[00:42:00] Oh my God.

[00:42:01] Oh my God.

[00:42:02] Like this one, I miss a dose.

[00:42:03] I feel a little weird.

[00:42:04] No, that one fucked me up.

[00:42:07] You do the after-octane.

[00:42:09] But I think that's going to wrap up today's episode.

[00:42:13] Thank you for listening to Jordan's Tooth Story

[00:42:15] because that's mainly what we talked about.

[00:42:19] If you liked my list, Prattle, please follow us

[00:42:22] and give us a like on whatever platform you're listening on.

[00:42:26] We hope you have a wonderful day.

[00:42:28] I'm Ripley, that's Jordan, and we'll see you next time.

[00:42:32] Goodbye.
