[00:00:00] What's with the dry eyes over here?
[00:00:14] What do you mean?
[00:00:17] Your face, it's all dry.
[00:00:19] I was crying a lot.
[00:00:20] I specifically requested tears of joy.
[00:00:24] Why?
[00:00:25] They should be all the time.
[00:00:28] I should be crying all the time.
[00:00:29] I do that enough.
[00:00:30] No joy, joy tears time.
[00:00:33] Your camera is reversed in this and it's very, it's off to me.
[00:00:38] I flip it on twitching stuff.
[00:00:42] I know it's very weird to see it like the actual way.
[00:00:46] I feel like my face looks better the other way but this is fine.
[00:00:51] I can't tell a super difference on the face.
[00:00:53] It's just the room like the things around you that are there.
[00:00:56] It actually is now.
[00:00:58] Yeah.
[00:00:59] Well, it's not like if you turn around the TV is not on that side like it's backwards.
[00:01:05] It's wrong.
[00:01:06] Yeah, from you it looks the right way from the backwards way it's wrong.
[00:01:11] Okay, I get what you're saying.
[00:01:13] Like squirrel keeps taunting the cat so if you hear it, that's great.
[00:01:17] I need to mute this mouse over here.
[00:01:21] Here we go.
[00:01:23] Oh boy, howdy.
[00:01:25] Hello, hello.
[00:01:28] Welcome back to my list.
[00:01:30] We've already been emotionally exhausted this morning.
[00:01:33] Who's we?
[00:01:34] You scheduled appointments and meetings for things and then didn't tell me and then forgot
[00:01:39] about them yourself.
[00:01:40] I could swear it was the 24th.
[00:01:44] I just, I guess I just got it mixed up.
[00:01:46] I never even saw the email traffic that said we had a meeting with her like I
[00:01:49] completely didn't even know.
[00:01:52] I swear I told you about it.
[00:01:54] You probably said that she wants to schedule a meeting and that you were going to look
[00:01:57] at it.
[00:01:58] But again, okay, well my bad.
[00:02:03] Imagine if we were in person though, like if I actually went up there or something
[00:02:08] that'd be funny.
[00:02:09] You just have to sit next to me and tell me, oh, what would you do then?
[00:02:15] So we had a meeting with our winning aficion and they had she like asks us all these
[00:02:20] questions about each other and like what do we love about each other and things
[00:02:22] like that.
[00:02:23] And I was just like, where am I supposed to start?
[00:02:26] There's so many things.
[00:02:28] Yeah I was not tracking that that was going to be some emotional meeting.
[00:02:33] I thought she was just going to be like, yep, your script looks good.
[00:02:36] Did you want to tweak this, this or this?
[00:02:38] And I've been like, nope, sounds good.
[00:02:40] And then we move on.
[00:02:42] She's like, no, have you been to therapy with each other?
[00:02:46] Let's go.
[00:02:47] Yeah, yes.
[00:02:48] It was nice.
[00:02:49] I liked it.
[00:02:50] I will say after that though, I'm pretty sure everybody's going to be crying within
[00:02:54] like the first five minutes of the ceremony though.
[00:02:57] I think some people are.
[00:02:58] I don't think everyone will be.
[00:03:01] Em said she's going to be bawling her eyes out.
[00:03:05] She best be very careful then.
[00:03:07] She handed you a sword while she's bawling her eyes out.
[00:03:10] Oh my gosh.
[00:03:11] We should have some tissues ready.
[00:03:13] You should.
[00:03:14] Well, I am excited.
[00:03:17] We have less than a month to our wedding now.
[00:03:19] It's pretty cool.
[00:03:20] Yes.
[00:03:22] I like, like we've mentioned in previous episodes, I don't know exactly what the next six to seven
[00:03:31] weeks worth of episodes is going to look like one because we're getting married on a Monday
[00:03:36] two because we'll be on our honeymoon also on a Monday.
[00:03:40] So there's going to be at least two episodes that are going to be messed up a little bit
[00:03:44] unless we can find some time to record them early.
[00:03:48] Yeah, we can talk about that after the episode.
[00:03:51] But we'll get there.
[00:03:52] We're getting ahead of ourselves.
[00:03:54] First of all, we really needs to do the intro.
[00:03:57] Go on.
[00:03:58] So as I said before, welcome back to mindless Prattle.
[00:04:01] We are your hosts.
[00:04:02] I'm Ripley.
[00:04:03] That's Jordan and we're here to talk about stuff and things and Prattle on mindlessly.
[00:04:08] Do you want to start or can I?
[00:04:13] It sounds like you want to start.
[00:04:14] Okay.
[00:04:15] What about the government cheese caves?
[00:04:17] Let's let's say no.
[00:04:20] Go on.
[00:04:21] Okay.
[00:04:22] Oh my God, I learned about the government cheese caves a few weeks ago and I was like,
[00:04:26] I got to talk about this.
[00:04:27] So basically if you didn't know there are 1.4 million pounds of cheese in caves that
[00:04:37] the government has been hoarding.
[00:04:39] And this is how we got stuffed crust pizza.
[00:04:41] And I found this so interesting.
[00:04:43] Okay.
[00:04:43] I knew the first half of the cave part and the cheese part, but I want to see the butterfly
[00:04:48] flag to get to stuffed crust pizza.
[00:04:50] Go on.
[00:04:51] Go for it.
[00:04:52] So in the 1970s there was a national dairy shortage and the government freaked the
[00:04:58] fuck out.
[00:04:59] Like they were like, oh no we cannot have this.
[00:05:01] So Jimmy Carter started pouring money into the dairy industry.
[00:05:07] Jimmy Carter started pouring money into the dairy industry.
[00:05:09] We still have it today.
[00:05:10] There's a lot of government subsidies for dairy farms, but they produce so much excess
[00:05:16] cheese that they stored them in these caves in Missouri.
[00:05:20] And then after a while they were like, all this cheese is molding.
[00:05:23] Like what are we supposed to do with millions of pounds of cheese?
[00:05:27] So they started publicly distributing it in 1981.
[00:05:33] But who's going to buy that much cheese?
[00:05:36] It's kind of why there's the saying government cheese because it's like a symbol of
[00:05:40] status and stuff that you could like get the government cheese, you know?
[00:05:43] But to offset.
[00:05:45] Just as a quick side note though, have you seen those giant, those giant like 30, 40
[00:05:52] kilogram like wheels of cheese?
[00:05:54] I have always wanted one to just cut it in half and then eat it or share it
[00:06:00] or whatever.
[00:06:01] I just always want one.
[00:06:02] Anyway go ahead.
[00:06:03] Buy one for the wedding, have a cheesecake.
[00:06:04] Cheese cake.
[00:06:05] Cheese cake is just a giant wheel of cheese.
[00:06:09] Yeah, but so they had to figure out what to do with all this cheese that's going bad.
[00:06:14] So the government started selling the cheese to companies and one of the main buyers of
[00:06:18] cheese ended up being pizza companies like Papa John's and Domino's and all that
[00:06:23] sort of stuff.
[00:06:24] And so they had to figure out what to do with it because they got a lot of fucking
[00:06:28] cheese now.
[00:06:29] So then they started experimenting with new ways to like do things with cheese
[00:06:33] and that's how they created stuffed crust pizza.
[00:06:36] So because the government hid all this cheese in caves, we have stuffed
[00:06:40] crust pizza.
[00:06:43] So you should think Jimmy Carter.
[00:06:45] You got it.
[00:06:46] Yeah.
[00:06:47] So Jimmy Carter is the working board of the money into the dairy industry and I
[00:06:49] believe it was Ronald Reagan who started publicly distributing it because they
[00:06:53] were literally just taking pictures with like moldy cheese.
[00:06:55] Which I'm, can you explain to me why is that a problem?
[00:06:58] Because I thought it was good for cheese to mold because doesn't that just age
[00:07:02] it or am I completely wrong about cheese?
[00:07:05] No.
[00:07:06] So some cheese's mold and it'll be okay like blue cheese, the blue in it is mold.
[00:07:12] It's just mold, right?
[00:07:14] But it also depends on the type of mold that is growing on it.
[00:07:17] So like blue cheese, it's blue because it has like the bluish greenish mold.
[00:07:20] It's a very specific type of mold that has flavor but it doesn't like have
[00:07:25] negative effects on your health when you eat it.
[00:07:29] Now if you get like black mold or like some weird other mold on the cheese itself
[00:07:33] when it's like a hard cheese instead of like a softer cheese like blue cheese,
[00:07:37] then yes, the cheese has gone bad and you should not eat it.
[00:07:40] So it mainly just depends on the type of mold.
[00:07:45] This squirrel, okay this squirrel has been taunting the cats all morning.
[00:07:49] Like the door is open and he literally keeps coming down and Chipmunk is
[00:07:52] like trying to gaslight him into thinking she's not going to go outside.
[00:07:56] So she keeps waiting until he gets all the way down and then like chases outside.
[00:07:59] And it's like haha.
[00:08:00] Oh yeah, no they do that.
[00:08:02] They do that all the time.
[00:08:04] I think they'd be upset if they got each other though because like they
[00:08:07] seem to really enjoy these moments of fucking around.
[00:08:11] I think if she caught the squirrel and like killed it or whatever,
[00:08:16] she would just wait for another squirrel to show up.
[00:08:18] She wouldn't, I don't think she would get that much.
[00:08:21] She would just be like, another one will come.
[00:08:24] There's so many they live out there, I'm sure of it.
[00:08:26] She just like stares at him sometimes and doesn't even chase him after a while.
[00:08:30] And I'm like, do you just like watching the squirrel eat?
[00:08:33] Like what's happening here?
[00:08:34] But he's been there all morning and just like.
[00:08:38] I guarantee if there was like a bunch of tall grass out there
[00:08:43] they would just be sitting out there hiding in the grass as close to
[00:08:45] the thing as they could because they hide underneath the chairs.
[00:08:48] They hide really close by and wait for him to come down and then like it
[00:08:52] pounds on him as what they do.
[00:08:54] She thinks she's a lion in her head.
[00:08:56] Don't cats do I think.
[00:08:58] I don't know.
[00:09:01] I also so the funniest thing happened to me at work yesterday.
[00:09:03] I don't know if I told you.
[00:09:05] So I did two Dutch braids like I normally do because it keeps my
[00:09:09] eye on my face.
[00:09:11] So I had two braids, you know, this woman comes up to me.
[00:09:14] She's like, did you braid your hair yourself?
[00:09:16] And I was like, yeah, I did.
[00:09:17] And she goes, can you do it to other people?
[00:09:19] And I was like, oh no.
[00:09:21] I think really like it's it's much harder for me to braid other
[00:09:25] people's hair because I learned how to braid on myself.
[00:09:29] My mom has really short hair.
[00:09:30] She's had short hair pretty much since I've been alive.
[00:09:34] So she didn't really know how to do stuff like that.
[00:09:35] So I have completely taught myself how to do all the braiding
[00:09:37] and taking care of my hair.
[00:09:39] But this woman was so impressed.
[00:09:41] She's like, I'm getting married in September and I need someone
[00:09:43] to do my hair.
[00:09:44] I was like, oh, I can't do that.
[00:09:47] That's a whole other level of stress you got to look at, too.
[00:09:50] Like braiding someone else be like, have fun on your date.
[00:09:53] But like braiding someone's hair for their wedding.
[00:09:55] Like she was willing to pay me to do her hair for her wedding.
[00:10:00] And one of my friends at work was like, you should have done it.
[00:10:02] And I was like, no, no, I'm not fucking up this woman's wedding.
[00:10:05] That would have been bad.
[00:10:06] Plus like if you're not licensed to do it, but they just give
[00:10:09] you money for it anyway.
[00:10:10] That's a whole other thing.
[00:10:11] Like, oh.
[00:10:13] Yeah. So I definitely I recommended her to my hair and makeup artist.
[00:10:16] Actually, I was like, listen, I'm doing.
[00:10:19] How much was she going to pay you?
[00:10:20] I don't know. We didn't get that far because I was like, I don't.
[00:10:23] I don't do that.
[00:10:24] Yeah. Because like anything, any what is it?
[00:10:26] Anything over like $600 for a business or for like a
[00:10:30] independent contractor you have to report on your taxes too.
[00:10:33] So like that's it's something we don't know.
[00:10:36] Of course, I would never charge that much.
[00:10:37] But I told her like because the prices out here are crazy.
[00:10:39] And I was like, listen, I'm spending 300 total on my hair
[00:10:42] and my makeup, which is like the low end.
[00:10:44] And she was like, wow, really?
[00:10:46] And I was like, yes, like here's the studio.
[00:10:48] Like contact them. They're amazing.
[00:10:50] Like, you know, here's a business boost for you.
[00:10:54] So but I just I felt so good about myself.
[00:10:57] I was like, do my braids look that good?
[00:10:59] Like, oh, I tried so hard.
[00:11:03] And you didn't even send me pictures. Gosh.
[00:11:06] Oh, I didn't send you any pictures at work.
[00:11:08] No, I did send you pictures before I went to work.
[00:11:11] I know, I just always want more anyway.
[00:11:15] And they'll be it's fine.
[00:11:19] What do you got today?
[00:11:21] So I went on the the bastard party trip last weekend.
[00:11:25] Oh, yeah. How was it?
[00:11:26] What did you do? And boy, it was it was fun.
[00:11:30] So it started off at the airport.
[00:11:32] It was great.
[00:11:34] I get through security pretty quick.
[00:11:37] Went into my gate, you know, I went over.
[00:11:40] I was trying to find somewhere to eat
[00:11:42] because it was like four thirty in the morning, something like that.
[00:11:46] And this burger place was opening and it said open at four thirty.
[00:11:50] And I was like, cool, I'll go get a like a burger this morning.
[00:11:52] Like, burger sounds pretty good.
[00:11:53] Normally, I don't eat a lot at four thirty in the morning, but why not?
[00:11:56] You know, whatever.
[00:11:57] So I went over there, waited like 10 minutes for them to open.
[00:12:01] They finally opened.
[00:12:02] I said, hey, my flight board in about 40 minutes.
[00:12:05] Can I get something to go?
[00:12:07] You know, like just make it put in a bag or whatever.
[00:12:10] And I'll take it with me.
[00:12:11] You don't even have to give me a seat.
[00:12:12] I'll just stand here and they said, oh, no, we only do dine in.
[00:12:17] I'm like, that's strange.
[00:12:18] They're like, oh, if you're also if your flight boards in 40 minutes,
[00:12:22] we might not have time to serve you.
[00:12:25] I was like, I'm not trying to be served.
[00:12:26] I'm just trying to buy some food from you and then leave with the food.
[00:12:30] And they were like, no, we don't do to go orders either.
[00:12:32] And I was like, what is this thing that's going on right now?
[00:12:35] Yeah, it's an airport.
[00:12:37] Why do you not have food to go?
[00:12:39] Like get a majority.
[00:12:40] Everyone coming through here has somewhere else to be.
[00:12:43] Like, what do you?
[00:12:45] It didn't make sense to me.
[00:12:46] Anyway, so I walked off.
[00:12:49] I grabbed like a little breakfast burrito from a barbecue place.
[00:12:52] It was actually really good.
[00:12:53] It was like sausage, brisket and some other things in there.
[00:12:55] It was good while I'm sitting down there.
[00:12:59] At the gate and I'm just minding my own little business,
[00:13:01] eating my own little burrito, you know me.
[00:13:04] And this guy comes over and he goes.
[00:13:10] He comes up to this group of like two people that are standing nearby me.
[00:13:14] And he said, hey guys, I saw like they were reconnecting
[00:13:17] before they got on the flight to Vegas, I guess.
[00:13:20] I don't know. Sure. Go for it.
[00:13:22] But then the woman she goes, are you guys ready for
[00:13:28] for this weekend?
[00:13:30] And he goes, oh, yeah, I got a suitcase full of mushrooms and sex toys.
[00:13:33] Why wouldn't I be ready?
[00:13:35] Like loud as fuck.
[00:13:37] In the airport.
[00:13:39] I hope it was joking. Oh my God.
[00:13:42] No, I thought so too.
[00:13:43] I was like, good joke.
[00:13:44] But then the other two didn't laugh.
[00:13:46] The other two went, hey, man, keep down about that.
[00:13:49] And I was like, what?
[00:13:51] Like.
[00:13:53] I was like, dude, what the fuck are you doing?
[00:13:56] It's like five a.m.
[00:13:58] On a fucking Thursday.
[00:14:00] OK, not that I would know, but like
[00:14:02] it is actually ridiculously easy to get drugs through TSA.
[00:14:06] Well, no, I think he no, no, no, it not in his suitcase with him
[00:14:09] like the one that he checked.
[00:14:10] Yes, exactly. Like, yeah, they just scan it and they're like, sure.
[00:14:15] Yeah, but I mean, it's drugs.
[00:14:20] Looks like you have mushrooms.
[00:14:21] I don't know.
[00:14:23] I don't know. He's that he had a suitcase full of mushrooms
[00:14:26] and sex toys and the other two like looked happy about it,
[00:14:30] but also upset that he said it so loud.
[00:14:32] You know, like, I'll be fucking stupid if we're going to do a legal.
[00:14:35] I'll sit that out loud. Quiet about it.
[00:14:38] Well, then he followed it up with what did you guys bring?
[00:14:41] Like they were all supposed to bring something, I guess.
[00:14:45] And the other two just said,
[00:14:46] and we'll find out when we get there.
[00:14:48] And I was like, oh, it's a surprise now.
[00:14:50] All right, that's cool. Have fun with you guys.
[00:14:52] Yeah, but also why would you bring that with you?
[00:14:55] It's actually it's so easy to find drugs in Las Vegas.
[00:14:58] Like you could go up to a waiter and make a joke
[00:14:59] and they'll be like, oh, do you want to buy some? You know, like.
[00:15:03] That's happened to my parents a few times.
[00:15:04] I don't know, maybe.
[00:15:06] Maybe they just thought it'd be easier
[00:15:08] to bring their own toys and and or drugs in a class D family.
[00:15:12] They didn't want to get new ones.
[00:15:15] I don't know.
[00:15:17] Maybe he had special mushrooms.
[00:15:20] I mean, they were definitely special mushrooms.
[00:15:23] That's how. Yeah.
[00:15:24] So that's how it started.
[00:15:25] I imagine you get all the way there at 4 30 in the morning, too.
[00:15:29] Do I know, right?
[00:15:29] Imagine you get like all the way to Vegas and you look at it
[00:15:33] and the guy's just like, what is this?
[00:15:34] And he's like, I don't know.
[00:15:35] I bought some talking mushrooms from the store.
[00:15:37] Isn't that what you meant?
[00:15:39] And they're like, God, do it, Steve.
[00:15:42] What are my friends was like, we're talking about my bachelor trip
[00:15:45] and they were like, I really want to do mushrooms.
[00:15:47] And I was like, I thought they were joking at first.
[00:15:49] I was like, my parents could probably get you some.
[00:15:51] And they were like, really? Would you ask?
[00:15:54] I mean, I can't.
[00:15:55] My parents don't care, but I don't really feel like
[00:15:57] maybe setting somebody on mushrooms.
[00:15:59] Yeah, I would be like, here's some shrooms.
[00:16:01] I'll see you tomorrow. You have to stay in the room.
[00:16:03] Goodbye. OK, keep going with your story.
[00:16:07] Well, I mean, nothing else happened at the airport after that.
[00:16:10] I just, you know, got to Vegas, went over there.
[00:16:13] We had the
[00:16:15] the meeting in the morning with the coordinator and all the fun stuff.
[00:16:17] Just spent the day with my parents. It was nice.
[00:16:20] Then the next day when everybody came in,
[00:16:24] we went over, got a bunch of drinks.
[00:16:25] We drank mostly for free pretty much the whole weekend.
[00:16:29] Really? Yeah, because we were at the
[00:16:32] we were at the hotel where my brother works.
[00:16:35] So
[00:16:37] we we the drinks themselves are free, but we tipped and everything.
[00:16:42] So we still ended up paying
[00:16:43] except for like up when we were at the pool
[00:16:45] because there's a different set of like bartending schedules
[00:16:48] and bartenders and whatnot.
[00:16:50] So we didn't know any of them, so we paid up there.
[00:16:52] But
[00:16:54] but still, it was nice.
[00:16:55] While we were at the pool, let me tell you, OK, so
[00:16:59] you there were a lot of bachelor and bachelor parties at the pool,
[00:17:05] like at least seven or eight of them.
[00:17:08] And at one point,
[00:17:11] every one of them is ordering like bottles of this or that and whatever.
[00:17:15] And that's like groups of like 12 to 15 people in my youth.
[00:17:18] People were friends, got some money.
[00:17:20] Yeah. Well, anyway,
[00:17:23] we were walking to get some more like beer or something.
[00:17:27] And as we turn around, they're like clearing a path through the crowd
[00:17:31] of like down this walkway.
[00:17:33] And there's this fake Zamboni coming down the walkway with two
[00:17:38] referees in front of it, which the referees were just like two women
[00:17:41] in like black and white bikinis that were like striped.
[00:17:44] They both had they both had bottles of champagne.
[00:17:47] And there were those bottles are like fifteen hundred dollars each, right?
[00:17:51] So they're walking down.
[00:17:52] There's two of them.
[00:17:53] Then there's the security guards who are walking alongside them to like keep people back.
[00:17:57] And then there's the guy pushing the Zamboni.
[00:17:59] And then there's a woman standing up on top of the Zamboni.
[00:18:02] And she's got this giant bottle of champagne.
[00:18:06] And they all go all the way around the pool and get to this
[00:18:10] bachelor party or Bastered, I don't know which one, probably Bastered,
[00:18:13] if it's champagne, but.
[00:18:15] But get all the way over there, drop it off as they're coming back
[00:18:19] around with the just the Zamboni itself, because they left, you know,
[00:18:22] the bottles and stuff over there.
[00:18:24] We we overhear this guy asking one of the security guards.
[00:18:28] They're like, hey, man, how much is that?
[00:18:29] And he goes, oh, the bottle itself is 10 grand, so the show's got to be at least
[00:18:33] 15. And I was like, you just spent 15 grand on that show that lasted
[00:18:39] what five minutes? I guess if you're rich, that's nothing.
[00:18:43] That's what we told him.
[00:18:44] Like that guy's got rich, rich money.
[00:18:45] Like, holy shit.
[00:18:46] He was in one of the private like gross.
[00:18:49] He was in one of the privatized like areas of the pool, like he had his own
[00:18:52] hot tub and his own little pool section, like roped off for him with the cabana
[00:18:56] and everything. We were like, God damn, that motherfucker is his.
[00:19:01] Oh, wonderful single.
[00:19:02] But not soon, not to be, I guess, I don't know.
[00:19:08] That was good.
[00:19:09] We went to a place called Barry's.
[00:19:12] It was it's like a higher end restaurant.
[00:19:14] It's it's got the original Vegas Vickie's like sign, the neon sign on top.
[00:19:20] Oh, I think I've been past it.
[00:19:22] Yeah, yeah, it's it's pretty expensive.
[00:19:24] But a brother, I guess, won some raffle to a like five hundred dollars off
[00:19:30] your your bill at this place.
[00:19:33] And so we're like, all right, well, let's go for dinner there.
[00:19:36] Well, the certificate itself is like five hundred dollars off dinner for two,
[00:19:41] right? So the chef came out, the owner and the chef came out and talked to us
[00:19:46] and was like, yeah, we he's like, I got you guys.
[00:19:50] I'm going to take care of you guys tonight.
[00:19:51] I like you guys style this and that, right?
[00:19:53] He walked off.
[00:19:53] He goes, let me see that certificate.
[00:19:55] Hold on, let me see it.
[00:19:56] And so we gave him the certificate and he comes back like a couple
[00:20:01] minutes later, he goes, here you go.
[00:20:02] We're like, what is this?
[00:20:03] And he goes, oh, I got the goalie from the Vegas Golden Knights
[00:20:05] to sign it for you.
[00:20:07] So he signed it.
[00:20:07] And we were like, we're like, what he's here?
[00:20:09] And they're like, yeah, he's like two tables down.
[00:20:11] And we look over, he's just sitting there and we're like, all right.
[00:20:13] That's so cool.
[00:20:14] He signed that for us.
[00:20:16] And so they then he walks off our waiter comes back over and he goes,
[00:20:20] would you guys like the smelly to come out and pair wines with your selections
[00:20:24] tonight? We were like, sure.
[00:20:26] I mean, we drink, you know, why not wine?
[00:20:30] So he came out and he ended up giving us a bottle of champagne,
[00:20:34] like three bottles of wine.
[00:20:37] The drinks on top of that, that we've got a flight of tequila that was really good.
[00:20:43] And then all the food itself.
[00:20:45] And so as the end he comes back out and he goes, hey guys,
[00:20:48] this one the waiter was really he was super cool.
[00:20:50] He was funny at the end.
[00:20:52] He goes, hey guys, just so you know, the the like we said at the beginning,
[00:20:58] they don't worry about the bill, but the
[00:21:01] we're going to comp a thousand off, but you're at a thousand 18 right now.
[00:21:07] Just in case you wanted to stop and we're like, no, no, no,
[00:21:09] we'll get some desserts and a couple more things.
[00:21:10] And he goes, OK, sounds good.
[00:21:12] So he walked off, we got some desserts, came back and he goes,
[00:21:16] he goes, you know what?
[00:21:17] He goes, you know what?
[00:21:18] We're going to come the whole thing tonight.
[00:21:19] You guys have a good night and then walked off.
[00:21:22] So we gave him like a four hundred dollar tip and then left.
[00:21:24] But it was super nice.
[00:21:25] He was super cool, dude.
[00:21:28] It's looking at your face.
[00:21:29] So much cooler than mine.
[00:21:32] You mean?
[00:21:35] I don't think that I had anything to do with my friends,
[00:21:37] but we had a great time.
[00:21:38] It was it was fun.
[00:21:39] I mean, that just what a great experience.
[00:21:41] I'm so happy for you.
[00:21:43] Yeah. And then what do you do?
[00:21:45] Sunday, we went out and went shooting.
[00:21:47] That was a lot of fun.
[00:21:49] I shot some like suppressed handguns that was really cool.
[00:21:52] Some I shot a scar.
[00:21:55] The scar is so fun to shoot.
[00:21:56] It's so expensive though.
[00:21:57] It's crazy.
[00:21:57] Like a machine gun?
[00:21:59] No, no, it's semi auto, but.
[00:22:03] But it was super fun to shoot.
[00:22:04] It's just expensive.
[00:22:06] And the it's like dollars, something around.
[00:22:10] But it was fun.
[00:22:11] It was a lot of fun.
[00:22:13] And then we went to there.
[00:22:15] We went to the burlesque or one of the burlesque shows
[00:22:18] on Sunday night before we.
[00:22:20] You know what?
[00:22:21] It was X burlesque is what it's called.
[00:22:26] Well, new to just like topless.
[00:22:28] No, it's topless.
[00:22:30] The the show itself was really good.
[00:22:32] Like the sequence is really good.
[00:22:34] They're just there wasn't a lot of continuity
[00:22:36] between the themes of the show.
[00:22:38] So I thought that was very strange.
[00:22:39] And I was like, well, whatever works.
[00:22:41] That's kind of how it was when I was at your sister's
[00:22:43] bachelorette for the Thunderdown under like they would just kind of
[00:22:47] like go to like their next little show and it would be completely different.
[00:22:51] Like one would be like the Australian outback
[00:22:53] and then the next one they brought out like a four poster bed.
[00:22:55] And I was like, OK.
[00:22:58] Yeah, they had one scene.
[00:23:00] They had one where they were like dancing in martini glasses.
[00:23:03] And then the next scene, one of them was covered in balloons.
[00:23:05] And you're like, I don't know what I feel like for a show better
[00:23:09] than like a male strip show.
[00:23:10] Like that sounds fun.
[00:23:12] They're pretty fun.
[00:23:13] There was a I didn't expect the comedian in the middle of it.
[00:23:18] So there's a committee.
[00:23:19] I don't know.
[00:23:19] There was just a comedian that she was telling jokes
[00:23:21] and she made fun of me the whole time.
[00:23:23] Yeah, she made fun of me for a little bit and then she was moving around and what not.
[00:23:27] But it was really fun.
[00:23:29] And the only burlesque I've been to is the zombie burlesque show.
[00:23:33] Like I think it's that Planet Hollywood or something.
[00:23:36] Which they gave me Jell-O shots when I was like 18.
[00:23:38] There's a zombie burlesque.
[00:23:40] Or yeah, it's actually really cool.
[00:23:42] I think it's still going.
[00:23:43] I went with my parents because like you just had to be 18 or older to go.
[00:23:47] But then at the end of the show, they hand everybody Jell-O shots.
[00:23:50] I did not confirm my age.
[00:23:55] It was fun though.
[00:23:57] Yeah, oh, we went to an escape room too.
[00:23:59] I totally forgot about that.
[00:24:00] Oh yeah, I saw your little sticker.
[00:24:02] Excuse me.
[00:24:03] A little sticker on your side table.
[00:24:05] Yeah, we got it.
[00:24:06] We escaped.
[00:24:07] We got out.
[00:24:08] So they had they rated the difficulty from like seven, eight and nine out of ten.
[00:24:15] And the one we went to was eight.
[00:24:18] My brother was like, yeah, we'll probably be drinking too much to do a nine.
[00:24:21] But I don't want it to be too easy.
[00:24:23] So we'll go with an eight.
[00:24:25] Okay.
[00:24:26] Like, I don't know.
[00:24:27] We'll get out of the eight.
[00:24:28] Okay.
[00:24:29] Because you like you're so good at stuff like that though.
[00:24:34] No, four was really good at it.
[00:24:36] We made through the first half of the puzzle in like 18 or 19 minutes.
[00:24:42] But then we got stuck because there was no marker on the second half when they were supposed to be.
[00:24:46] So we were just like, okay, we're going to cheat.
[00:24:48] So we took pictures of one of the things and we were just drawing on our phones instead of drawing on the big board.
[00:24:53] Cause I'm like this, there's no way to beat this without it, you know?
[00:24:57] Yeah.
[00:24:58] Did you guys tell them it was missing or?
[00:24:59] Yeah, afterward we asked if there was supposed to be a marker and she's like, oh yeah, it should be in there.
[00:25:03] And I go, it wasn't.
[00:25:05] Okay.
[00:25:06] I'll make sure one gets put in there for the next one.
[00:25:10] Okay.
[00:25:11] I've never done in the escape room.
[00:25:13] I think they sound fun though.
[00:25:14] You've never done one?
[00:25:15] They're a lot of fun, but you need a, you needed decent amount of people and a good communication like style with everyone.
[00:25:24] And with my friends, I'm not sure.
[00:25:26] Yeah, no, we would go through one and someone be like, I found this tile piece and someone else be like, oh, I found two tile pieces over here.
[00:25:32] And we go, I think it fits in this thing.
[00:25:34] And so we put them in there and be like, oh yeah, we need like 10 more of these.
[00:25:37] So we just go, all right, anybody finds the tile pieces, put them over here.
[00:25:41] I think I'd like to do one with you.
[00:25:44] I also really want to do that like VR experience though.
[00:25:48] Yeah, the VR experience sounds cool.
[00:25:50] I think that would be more fun than the escape room with just two of us.
[00:25:54] Yeah.
[00:25:55] I think you need at least like four people for a decent escape room.
[00:26:00] Well, if you want to go to the VR thing sometime next time you're here, I wouldn't mind it because I think open room VR sounds so cool.
[00:26:07] The next time I'll be up is probably for the wedding.
[00:26:13] Did you do anything else on your bachelor?
[00:26:19] What else did we do?
[00:26:22] I feel like there was something else, but I can't remember it now.
[00:26:26] There's a lot of alcohol involved.
[00:26:28] Yeah.
[00:26:29] Gambling.
[00:26:30] I mean, we gambled a lot.
[00:26:32] I think my brother ended up winning some money, but I didn't win any.
[00:26:38] I hope I do when I go to Vegas.
[00:26:39] I won a lot of money at your sister's bachelor parties.
[00:26:42] I think my brother ended up winning like two grand or something.
[00:26:46] He's good.
[00:26:48] I know there's a lot more about the machines now and there's luck to it too, you know?
[00:26:54] I picked the shiny phone ones.
[00:26:56] You know the shiny phone ones.
[00:26:58] I forgot to tell you, I played your favorite machine.
[00:27:01] I played the James Bond one and I won 20 bucks.
[00:27:04] It's in the Circa.
[00:27:06] There's one in there.
[00:27:08] I don't know if I'm going to want to go over there.
[00:27:11] Yeah, but I won some money on that.
[00:27:13] I won like 20 bucks on that and I was like, cool, child of the good.
[00:27:16] That's exciting.
[00:27:18] And then I had one of those tickets that had like 3850 on it.
[00:27:22] So I was like, I'll just cash this out because we're about to leave the hotel.
[00:27:26] So I cashed it out, but it gave me back a little voucher for 50 cents because it didn't have changed.
[00:27:30] And I was like, fuck it.
[00:27:31] I'll just go play 50 cents on the machine.
[00:27:33] I put in 50 cents and I spent 50 cents and then it goes, here you go.
[00:27:36] Here's $10.
[00:27:37] And I was like, all right, well, I guess I'll get $10 now.
[00:27:40] So then I went and cashed out the 10 bucks.
[00:27:42] That's pretty cool.
[00:27:43] Cool.
[00:27:45] I'm glad you had a good time.
[00:27:47] What are you going to be doing on your trip?
[00:27:49] So I'm going to go out Wednesday for the weekend going.
[00:27:56] So it's the time of my family and then that night I'll probably go hang out with your parents.
[00:27:59] We need to get your stepmom a birthday gift so I can take it with me.
[00:28:03] I'll give it to them.
[00:28:05] Yeah, I was going to talk about that with you after this.
[00:28:08] Okay, cool.
[00:28:09] I was just thinking about it yesterday.
[00:28:10] I was like, ah, and then we don't have time after you get back from work later.
[00:28:13] Okay.
[00:28:14] And then after on Thursday, we're going to go to karaoke with a bunch of my friends
[00:28:22] and family.
[00:28:23] And I'm very excited about that.
[00:28:25] I love that place karaoke queue in Las Vegas.
[00:28:28] And like they have a happy hour and it's just so much cheaper.
[00:28:31] Like I want Austin to get on these karaoke bar things.
[00:28:35] Like they have different alcohol laws, so it's a little bit harder,
[00:28:38] but like the karaoke rooms here charge so much money per hour.
[00:28:42] And in Vegas, it's like six to $10 for the room because they know you're going to be buying food and drinks, you know.
[00:28:48] But so we're going to karaoke and I'm so excited.
[00:28:51] I love karaoke.
[00:28:53] And then on Friday, my family's throwing me a bridal shower that literally everybody involved in the planning goes,
[00:29:01] oh, I'm not supposed to tell you this, but they all told me and then they all told me not to tell you.
[00:29:05] They all told you individually.
[00:29:07] Yeah.
[00:29:08] And I was like, you guys are so great at keeping secrets.
[00:29:10] But that should be pretty fun.
[00:29:11] I guess they're renting a karaoke machine for that and my parents are hosting and my friends from Vegas are coming.
[00:29:16] So that'd be cool.
[00:29:17] And apparently I get gifts or something.
[00:29:19] I don't know.
[00:29:20] I want some.
[00:29:23] I don't know how like seriously my dad apparently told my mom to stop buying me things because he was like, you know,
[00:29:27] she has to take this back on a plane.
[00:29:29] Right?
[00:29:30] You might want to take half an empty suitcase.
[00:29:33] Yeah.
[00:29:34] And then Friday we check into the hotel and I don't remember what we're doing on Friday for the rest of that.
[00:29:45] But Saturday, the bridal thing in the morning of Friday.
[00:29:49] Not night.
[00:29:51] So I guess we'll just go.
[00:29:52] Oh, you're just.
[00:29:53] My parents.
[00:29:55] Yeah.
[00:29:56] And then Saturday we are going to La Jardin for brunch for like our fairy themed brunch.
[00:30:02] It is a garden.
[00:30:03] That is but it sounds cool.
[00:30:05] It's cool.
[00:30:06] It's a garden themed restaurant.
[00:30:07] It overlooks like the pools and all this sort of stuff.
[00:30:10] I looked at pictures online.
[00:30:11] It's beautiful.
[00:30:12] La Jardin is just French for the garden.
[00:30:15] I figured yeah.
[00:30:17] So I'm excited.
[00:30:18] It looks beautiful.
[00:30:19] And it took so long to figure out a place everybody wants to go to because everybody was like, this is too much money.
[00:30:25] This is too much money.
[00:30:26] And I was like, this is medium money.
[00:30:27] We're going there.
[00:30:28] You know, are crazy.
[00:30:29] That's not even that.
[00:30:30] I see this.
[00:30:32] That's another thing too is you the people.
[00:30:35] There's just too many people with their own opinions on that planning process.
[00:30:38] Like my brother planned everything we showed up and we went, what are we doing?
[00:30:42] And he goes, this, this, this, this and this will pay for it later.
[00:30:45] And we went sounds good.
[00:30:46] So that's it.
[00:30:47] That's part of why I was a little jealous because like we talked about it already and it's like,
[00:30:52] I know everybody has different financial comfort levels, but it's just like, it's like, it seems
[00:30:57] like spending any amount of money is too much money for these people.
[00:31:00] And I'm just like, if that was the case, you didn't have to go.
[00:31:04] You know?
[00:31:05] So that's fine.
[00:31:06] I'm still going to have fun and do my own thing.
[00:31:09] I'm going to pay for what I want.
[00:31:10] Like no big deal.
[00:31:11] I've been saving money.
[00:31:12] You should.
[00:31:13] Yeah.
[00:31:14] But Saturday afternoon, my bestie calls me and my made a money calls me.
[00:31:20] She goes, you are not going to believe this.
[00:31:22] So basically she had called the spa because I really wanted to have a spa day and their phones were down.
[00:31:28] So she left a message and she gets called back from this lady's personal cell phone number and my friend's dad works at this hotel.
[00:31:34] And I guess he's a really amazing boss to work for because like the woman was like, I saw your last name.
[00:31:40] I made you a priority.
[00:31:41] Like, tell me what you want and I'll make it happen.
[00:31:44] And so she explained that we're going there for my, you know, bachelor party and everything that she's a main of honor.
[00:31:48] And the woman was like, we're going to give you all these discounts.
[00:31:51] We're going to block off a two hour time block for you guys just to do whatever you want.
[00:31:55] Like, and you ask them to tell the bride, I'll get her mimosas or champagne, whatever she wants.
[00:32:00] I'll have that on hand for you guys.
[00:32:03] And then anybody who doesn't want to pay for the spa prices, like they're just going to spend the day at the pool that two hours or whatever.
[00:32:11] See you were saying there.
[00:32:13] Oh, that doesn't happen to me.
[00:32:14] I have cool friends like you.
[00:32:15] Like what you do?
[00:32:16] You just lying.
[00:32:17] No, just so, you know, M's handling all that.
[00:32:20] But like, I just, I really appreciated that like there she's going through all that trouble and like, you know, her dad, I love her dad.
[00:32:27] He's a really great guy.
[00:32:30] And it's just, it's really nice that she cares enough to like go through all this effort and planning for me because I know it's harder for her than other people.
[00:32:37] So we're just going to, we're going to have a few hours at the spa.
[00:32:40] I'm going to get the longest fucking massage possible.
[00:32:43] Like my knots have not, she was like, are there's one male masseuse like whoever's comfortable with that can have him.
[00:32:49] And I was like, whoever is going to dig into my back and get these knots out of me without caring that it hurts a little bit.
[00:32:55] That's what I want.
[00:32:56] Like I need a full body massage.
[00:33:00] And then I want to get like a little facial and I guess they offer like a body scrub special.
[00:33:04] I've never had a full body scrub.
[00:33:05] I don't really know how that works.
[00:33:07] It sounds a little odd to have somebody else scrub my body, but I really just want that massage so bad.
[00:33:15] And then at that night we're going to go out, go drink and all that sort of stuff.
[00:33:20] And then Sunday we also are doing something that I can't remember right now.
[00:33:30] Yeah, I don't know.
[00:33:32] And then I am going to spend Sunday night with my family again and then Monday morning I come back.
[00:33:40] Nice. What are you doing on Tuesday?
[00:33:45] I might be going to a concert.
[00:33:47] You don't know if you're still going or not.
[00:33:49] Okay, so here's the thing.
[00:33:50] Last night I was talking to Sydney about it.
[00:33:52] We went to my friend's house warming apartment warming party and so Sydney and I were discussing it and I guess Christian like her ex-girlfriend hasn't contacted her since they broke up and hasn't given her the tickets yet.
[00:34:02] She didn't have the tickets yet?
[00:34:04] Why would she offer?
[00:34:05] Oh my gosh.
[00:34:06] So I told her I was yeah, I did too.
[00:34:08] But I was like, you know, worst case scenario, if she doesn't give you the tickets, like let's just go out and do something anyways.
[00:34:13] Like, you know, like let's just hang out.
[00:34:16] If I were the ex-girlfriend, I wouldn't give you the tickets.
[00:34:19] Like why would you?
[00:34:20] I would.
[00:34:21] I mean, like if I bought something for somebody for like their birthday, I would give it to them.
[00:34:25] Yeah, at least one of the tickets, you know.
[00:34:28] Yeah, maybe, maybe one of them.
[00:34:30] But I wouldn't even then because then you'd see each other at the concert.
[00:34:33] Like especially if it was a messy breakup or something.
[00:34:35] I don't know what you'd do with that those tickets then, you know.
[00:34:38] It wasn't like a mess.
[00:34:39] It was just sudden and like her reasoning made no sense.
[00:34:42] So like, I don't.
[00:34:44] A person with the tickets, the one that broke up with your friend?
[00:34:47] Yeah.
[00:34:48] Oh, well then all the more reason she probably won't get those tickets.
[00:34:53] So I told her like worst case scenario we can go hang out.
[00:34:57] Yeah, well, it'll still be fun.
[00:34:59] But I'm very excited.
[00:35:01] I really need some time off work.
[00:35:05] You're also finishing up your book and changing positions at your job, right?
[00:35:11] Yeah.
[00:35:12] So job thing first, I guess I did.
[00:35:15] I am a store manager for the big green coffee giant currently.
[00:35:20] It is not for me.
[00:35:23] So I told my boss this last week that I'm going to be stepping down back to being a shift supervisor so I can have more free time and things because you know I won't be required to work or full 40 unless I want to pick up extra shifts or something like that.
[00:35:35] So I can.
[00:35:36] And not required to do all that extra bullshit at home that you have to deal with you know.
[00:35:40] Yes, like I feel like I never get a night to myself because like my boss is always contacting me like hey can you do this?
[00:35:46] Can you pull this up?
[00:35:47] Can you check out this or there's a breeze to call like I'm calling out and just covered I need this I need this and I'm like, can I have a minute alone?
[00:35:55] No, I know like in between the meeting we were just in and recording this I got like three phone calls and I'm like cool.
[00:36:03] Yeah, I didn't want to have like a Sunday morning to myself that'd be crazy.
[00:36:08] Yeah, so I'm excited about that and then the book I am finishing up chapter 20.
[00:36:16] I'm aiming for 25 total.
[00:36:19] I'm at the end.
[00:36:20] I know what I want the ending to be.
[00:36:22] I just have to write it.
[00:36:24] And it's like my characters have like finally like kissed a little, you know, I was like giggling and kicking my feet while I was writing that scene.
[00:36:32] I was like, I and then I yesterday I was like rereading some of my old chapters trying to find some the name of a character I forgot because they were mentioned but now they're being introduced.
[00:36:43] And I just I was reading it as like this is good like I like it.
[00:36:49] I believe in my writing like of course I need to do editing but I enjoy what I've written and I think that's a good sign.
[00:36:57] I'm just like damn these words came out of my brain.
[00:37:01] So I'm a little impressed by myself but you know there's still a lot of work to be done.
[00:37:05] So I'm hoping to finish up these last five chapters in the next week or two and then get editing and hopefully published by our honeymoon if possible.
[00:37:15] I don't know if it is but I'm trying really hard.
[00:37:18] Yeah, maybe the week between the wedding and the honeymoon you can look at doing that.
[00:37:23] But it's all coming together and it's just so I keep posting updates on TikTok and so many people like I want to read your book and I'm like, I know I have to finish writing it.
[00:37:32] I'm sorry.
[00:37:34] But it's all coming together.
[00:37:35] Where are you where you're going to be publishing through do you have a plan for that yet?
[00:37:39] Yes, so there is a company.
[00:37:42] What are they called?
[00:37:44] Why did this just exit my head?
[00:37:48] I mean not like where you through like the company itself but like are you going to be doing like physical and digital copies or just digital?
[00:37:57] Both.
[00:37:58] Okay, so it's Ingram Spark but so the way it works is like you can use these services and they'll like do the physical copies and everything for you.
[00:38:10] Same thing with like Amazon, like I want to publish on Kendall of course but Amazon also has like a thing you can use where they'll create the physical copies for you and then it's just like a set price that like they take out of each cell or something.
[00:38:26] But I'm looking.
[00:38:27] Yeah, that's exciting.
[00:38:29] That's exciting.
[00:38:30] I'm excited for it.
[00:38:31] But yeah, so many Ingram Spark and then I need to get my ISBN number and copyright and everything down before I announce the title and all that jazz.
[00:38:44] Good.
[00:38:46] Sounds like you've got some work to do.
[00:38:48] I guess it's going to be a print note.
[00:38:50] Yeah.
[00:38:51] Yeah, I also need to eat.
[00:38:52] I'm hungry.
[00:38:53] Yeah, I do.
[00:38:54] It's 12 o'clock and I haven't had a piece of beef jerky.
[00:38:57] Real quick before we go off and eat and do all the fun stuff.
[00:39:02] I was driving to, I just remember this.
[00:39:06] Yeah, how you included when you see flashing lights on the side of the road, you're like, oh no, we have to slow down even on the opposite side of the highway.
[00:39:16] You're like what has happened over here?
[00:39:18] Let's stop and look instead of just driving past the fucking.
[00:39:21] I keep driving.
[00:39:22] I just you drive you slow down so much.
[00:39:25] You do every time.
[00:39:26] Anyway, so I was driving up to, I think it was like San Antonio or something and all the traffic had just kind of like slowed to it like a pretty dead stop.
[00:39:36] And I was like what is happening over here?
[00:39:39] So I finally got in the left lane.
[00:39:41] I saw like there's two or three cops up ahead with their lights on.
[00:39:44] I was like, oh, there's some accident on the left side of the road.
[00:39:46] Okay.
[00:39:47] So I pulled over to the right, you know, kept driving and then I was in the middle lane.
[00:39:53] They had blocked off the far left lane with one of the cars.
[00:39:56] The other two cars were on the shoulder and there were these like three cops just standing there like yelling at this homeless dude who was fully naked on the side of the road pulling a trash bag and a coffee cup.
[00:40:16] And I was like, I don't know what's going on over here, but I'm gonna keep driving.
[00:40:20] It's like, you know what?
[00:40:22] That one was worth slowing down and looking at right.
[00:40:24] That's something he's going on.
[00:40:26] I think it's a pretty interesting things like I was happy because my favorite resident homeless man Danny came back with a little word.
[00:40:35] He might be dead, but yeah.
[00:40:39] He had told us he was going to be gone for a while.
[00:40:41] I think he went somewhere like a little warmer and then he had to have surgery as well.
[00:40:47] So he's gone, but he's not a bad dude, but like I helped him get clean basically.
[00:40:56] Like I didn't really do anything, but he used to come into our store and he was like, I noticed he was like doing with it.
[00:41:03] If you know what those are like the CO2 cans that people will use to get high off of.
[00:41:08] Yeah, there's probably some like closet or something.
[00:41:11] It's very bad for your brain, but I just noticed he was acting weird.
[00:41:15] He always seemed like he was drunk and then one day he had them out in the lobby.
[00:41:20] So I just told him, I was like, Danny listen, I understand that you're in a rough spot, but like you cannot be doing this in my lobby.
[00:41:26] Like you deserve better.
[00:41:27] You don't deserve to treat yourself like that.
[00:41:31] And he just left for a while and he came back a few weeks later and he was like, so hotel.
[00:41:37] He was clean as like eyes were so much clearer and everything.
[00:41:40] And he was like, yeah, I ended up going to like a rehab facility.
[00:41:44] And he was like, you know, part of it was because of you.
[00:41:47] I was a little embarrassed by everything you said, but it also made me realize like how I appear to other people.
[00:41:54] And even though I'm homeless, I don't want to be like that.
[00:41:57] And I was like, yeah, good for you, man.
[00:42:00] Like that's really hard.
[00:42:01] There's homeless and then there's druggy homeless as very different levels of homeless.
[00:42:05] I just a lot of homeless people become homeless because they have mental illnesses and like they use the drugs to cope with that when they're homeless.
[00:42:15] So like I understand that aspect of things, but I just, you know, you never know what you're going to do in that situation.
[00:42:22] And I'm just happy that he was able to get clean.
[00:42:25] I think it's important to notice homeless people and to treat them like people because that's what they are.
[00:42:30] To notice them.
[00:42:31] It's kind of hard not to notice them.
[00:42:32] They got big signs so that you notice them.
[00:42:34] Well, for example, so I watched this the story of Brian Kohi.
[00:42:39] He's a he's a guy who murdered a homeless man just because he wanted to see what it felt like.
[00:42:44] But the reason they caught him very quickly, like literally the day after is because there was a shop owner in that town who was like,
[00:42:51] No, this this guy he is homeless, but he comes to my store every morning when I open.
[00:42:55] I let him sit in here and read a book.
[00:42:57] I give him a cup of coffee.
[00:42:58] He's super nice.
[00:42:59] He's always here.
[00:43:00] He's never missed it unless he tells me he's going to be away.
[00:43:03] Like this guy wouldn't just go disappear without nothing.
[00:43:06] And if it wasn't for that shop owner raising concerns and like talking to the police, they probably wouldn't have found this man that this guy would have probably gotten away with murder.
[00:43:16] Well, actually no, he wouldn't have gotten away with it because this.
[00:43:20] Okay, I say eventually find a body though.
[00:43:23] He got off this man's head and hands.
[00:43:26] Fucking disgusting.
[00:43:28] Kept it in his closet.
[00:43:30] He was at home living with his parents.
[00:43:32] So his mom was going through his closet saw this weird as trash bag and opened it.
[00:43:37] And she called the police like, I think I just found a head in my son's closet.
[00:43:43] But they only connected it to the homeless murder because of this woman who was so kind to take the time out of her day and just care about another human being.
[00:43:51] And I thought that was really cool.
[00:43:55] Yeah, it reminds me of that story on the, uh, that I saw on Reddit that was like every morning that I stopped by the security office and and have a cup of coffee with the security guy because no, I never see him talk with anybody.
[00:44:07] And this morning I was running late and had to run to my office and didn't get a chance to stop because I was behind on some project.
[00:44:15] And he knocked on my door and came in and gave me a cup of coffee and said thanks for always being or thanks for being nice to me.
[00:44:22] No one else does.
[00:44:23] And I was like, oh, it's so nice.
[00:44:25] That is really nice.
[00:44:27] Now close us out now.
[00:44:29] Okay.
[00:44:30] What?
[00:44:31] Well, you're hungry.
[00:44:32] I'm hungry.
[00:44:33] We got stuff to do.
[00:44:34] I got a customer on before we go.
[00:44:36] I would like to add a note.
[00:44:37] So, um, I posted on our Instagram, but I haven't been making like the little video clips and things like that for a while because life has been crazy.
[00:44:46] But today I am going to go through and make a few so that we have some content to put up.
[00:44:51] Um, and then I'll be much more consistent about it after the wedding and honeymoon because a big part of our audience does come from seeing things like that on Tik Tok.
[00:45:01] Yeah.
[00:45:02] And I need to go back through all the logs and make the actual YouTube video, like full videos as well.
[00:45:09] So that'll be something I got to start working on again.
[00:45:12] But again, when I am forced to work like 23 days in a row without a break, it's a little difficult.
[00:45:20] Yeah.
[00:45:21] I've been not quite as bad as you, but I've just been working with one day off most weeks.
[00:45:25] So I'm very excited that I can have today off to watch.
[00:45:29] Oh my God, we didn't talk about the new Fallout show, but we're hungry.
[00:45:32] Nope.
[00:45:33] Didn't do it.
[00:45:34] There's no new show.
[00:45:35] Sorry.
[00:45:36] Okay.
[00:45:37] Well, go watch it.
[00:45:38] It's great.
[00:45:39] Yes, please.
[00:45:40] It's so good.
[00:45:41] Um, but that's going to be it for Mindless Proud.
[00:45:43] This week if you made it this far, thanks for listening.
[00:45:46] We appreciate you.
[00:45:48] Feel free to leave a like, a comment, follow, subscribe, whatever platform you're on do the thing.
[00:45:53] I'm Ripley.
[00:45:54] That's Jordan and we will see you next time.
[00:45:57] Bye.
